Good location great food a little over price but I guess taxes are high for the owner so have to raise the price on customers.

I used to order delivery from there multiple times. They became cheap and made the portion size a lot smaller, at the same price. When I called to ask why, they were unapologetic and didn't care about my feedback. I will NEVER order from there or eat there again. If their portions were one issue that's forgivable, their attitude is not.

Late night party kind of place, was here on Friday night, and it was packed with craziness. Love it.

This is a definite go to. Food was so good I came back for my 2nd night here in Newark.
Bartender runs the music and I was actually able to make a request.

Food was not really on point, service was also very bad. We were given attitude by some of the people in there, do not recommend this place if you want to have a good time

I’ve never been to such a poorly run establishment in my life. The quality of food there is impressively bad and the drinks there are so watered down, it feels like you’re drinking out of the Hudson River. I cannot begin to emphasize how bad this place is. From the food to the poor service to the piss poor quality of their cocktails and sangria, this is one place I will never have the displeasure of taking my friends and family to again. Simply awful. Giving this place even one star is way too much and they should consider themselves lucky Google doesn’t let you post no-star reviews.

Sagres Bar and Grill offers a charming blend of cozy ambiance and hearty cuisine. The atmosphere strikes a pleasant balance between relaxed and lively, making it an excellent choice for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu features a range of flavorful dishes, with standout options including the juicy steaks and well-seasoned seafood. The bar is well-stocked, offering a selection of craft beers and classic cocktails that complement the food perfectly.

Service is generally attentive and friendly, though during peak hours, wait times can be a bit longer. Overall, Sagres Bar and Grill provides a satisfying dining experience with good food, a welcoming environment, and a solid drink menu. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
