Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi Express

Im never the the type to give a bad review but I ate here for the first time yesterday The vegetables tasted like they were fake. Literally the chicken was bland and the fried rice had no flavor. When I woke up the next day, I woke up Throwing up and with diarrhea. The people who did help me like a shears they were very nice. I understand it’s not their fault but I’m never eating here again. I’m sick right now. and my order order was the chicken teriyaki entry with dumplings.

Food is bland but the cashier was very sweet

I have been coming here for years and I must say I could appreciate always receiving great service from the staff here. I want to particularly highlight Vernon who takes the extra time to make sure that the food is to our liking. The place is always clean and comfortable where I could actually sit down and eat and check some email messages on a quick break.

In addition to the food being hot, tasty and well presented, Monique at the Springfield Market location took the utmost care of me. She was patient and helpful. I will definitely be back because of her service and Sarku’s quality product.

Tried calling about 7 times, the food is okay but they got my order horribly wrong. Missed out on about $20 worth of food and they still aren’t answering the phone. And they were late. What’s worse is that my name and number are on it and my information was correct but they must have put in the order blindfolded.

Fast and easy meal that is a pleasure to watch being made. The chefs really know their craft. the noodles are the perfect degree of softness and the teriyaki sauce has the perfect hit of sweetness which complements the shrimp and chicken. They're vegetables are perfectly cooked and not too crunchy. I loved coming here when I worked in Newark.

Usually go to Sarku in Elizabeth. Live 5 min away. Today my son ordered fr door dash. Delivery came from Newark.Surprised. Food was outstanding. Chicken teriyaki combos w veggies and fr rice.chicken cooked perfectly, rice perfect,not stuck together, big portion,great price. Can’t go wrong.

Today I went to eat at Skrku, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped right away. The two ladies at the front were so nice—hands down the best! I got my food fast, and the place was super clean.

The food was wonderful and the staff was great as well.
