I want to start by saying the ambiance is great—the place is surprisingly cute for Newark and has a nice, artsy, and laid-back feel. It's genuinely nice to see this kind of positive change in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, the service was shockingly rude and completely ruined the visit. The counter employee with pink/red hair made us feel incredibly unwelcome from the moment we walked in. I honestly have never experienced such poor treatment, whether on the East Coast, West Coast, Europe, or elsewhere. Her behavior was particularly disrespectful when I asked for the Wi-Fi password. She was dismissive and made me feel belittled simply because English is not my first language. She treated both my mother and me as if we were a nuisance.
Management needs to find crew members whose attitudes align with the welcoming and creative atmosphere of the café. Poor customer service completely undermines the charm of this spot.
I highly recommend this place. Very good cappuccino. Omlets delicious. Good vibes inside.

Went to this place this morning and got food poisoning. The hospitality sucked there was no real interaction everything was through the app. I ordered the bacon and mushroom omelette. Will definitely not come back.
