Arrived a few minutes late. Seated immediately. Bread butter and queso fresco on table very quickly. Queso fresco very pleasant surprise and an entirely Portuguese experience. Next I ordered a lovely bottle of Portuguese red wine (list is compact but excellent) then order my favorite items on menu. Caldo verde. Pasteis de bacalàu. Cabrito. Relaxed pace. The food was nice, but the service seemed a bit rushed. The atmosphere was decent, although it didn't feel particularly welcoming to me. However, the prices were steep – a platter for $235 seemed excessive, even with fresh and authentic food. A more affordable option might have attracted a larger crowd at the seafood festival.
