We ordered food from Sora Newark terminal A after getting off plane at lunch time, on a quiet weekday and there was no line at the place. As we walked up to the counter the staff was arguing with another customer. Should have been a sign to turn away right there but we are tired and this seems like a quick and healthy option. Went to ordered a serving of gyoza for kiddo. They took out frozen dumpling put in take out plastic container add tap water and put in microwave. After extended wait time the said container was removed from microwave, the water poured out from side of container into work sink. Then one of the dumplings fell out into the sink. The employee fish it back up from the sink and put back into the bowl, in full view of customer, then put a lid on and hand to me. I asked her to rinse the dumpling that fell out but she did not understand my request and looked surprised. I ended up getting a bottled water and rinse all the dumplings before eating them. The entire transaction was without a smile or pleasantries. Highly unprofessional service and exorbitant price based on food quality food preparation and staff service.

Wow that was the worst food I’ve ever had ever. Gyoza is frozen and microwaved in a pool of tap water in front of you and miso soup is lukewarm water. Stay away

The sushi was cold and the rice was hardened. It was like as if its been stored in fridge for days and served.
Wouldn't recommend.
The people are good out there but the food isn't.

Went to order and was told it was 30 minutes. Guess you need more/better staff.
2 years later! Still trying to get staff? You can't make an eel roll to order?

Really, really disappointed in the food here. I went to their sushi bar in the United terminal. I sat down thinking I'd receive freshly made food, not to-go items that have been sitting in a fridge.
The sushi was old and not fresh. Instead of offering me freshly made rolls, the staff gave me a to go box from their fridge. The rice was stale and the avocado was starting to brown. The gyoza (pork buns) weren't fresh - they were put in a microwave to heat to temp and served in a Togo bowl. I had to ask for sauce, as none was provided for the gyoza.
These two items were about $50. I highly recommend finding food elsewhere. Overpriced and terrible quality.

Always randomly closed when it should be open
The most expensive rolls $19 foot a kalifornia roll? We went to order and the cashier said it was only premade. 2 rolls, 2 miso soup and 2 waters $62! The rice on the rolls were old and wet! Definitely don’t recommend.

not open during posted service hours. this is 10am on a friday
We ordered a takeout and food was not that bad except for the quantity was more like a snack size with only eight pieces for $12. The front receptionist was very rude with no manner whatever. Won’t stop again

Terrible!
When paying an additional tip of 20% was directly added! When I said let me decided she added a 15% tip still by herself !! A $25 became $29! I had to argue with her saying I will decide by myself what tip I want to give! I told her keep it 10% and she put it as 15% saying that is 10. How is 3. Something 10% for something that is $25? She was lying!
At the end she was like you can pay without tip which I did. Being served in plastic bowls does not deserve tip!
Avoid this restaurant at all costs!

I rarely write a bad review. So I go to write one and I see taht i am not alone. This restaurant has terrible ratings. Here is why 1. Your peopel working at the Newark airport prefers to stand and do nothing than clean counter. 2. I asked to salmon avocado roll with less rice and I am told you will not have rice for a while so I took a prepared role but when I bit into it the avocado was hard 3. So I ordered spicy tuna. It was very mediocre but rice was hard ..it must have sat there for a while. Well the ratings are not lying. Owner really get someone new and tell tham if they have nothing to do they can simply clear the counter..

The worst service, I order for to go but they made me wait outside of the restaurant when it was empty. I was like seriously 😒. Very rude!!!!!
Was told at 6pm the restaurant was closed and could only sit at the bar-went somewhere else to get food and sit there since the atmosphere is much nicer than most of terminal B. Come back and was immediately yelled at by the host/manager whatever she is to get out with my “outside food”. It’s an airport. Nothing is outside.
Was then told the chef would be magically be back in 20 mins to serve us after we had bought food elsewhere explaining that that’s where we had wanted to eat.
Rude and terrible service.
