I should’ve paid attention within five minutes. They were handing me my half a slab of ribs. They were already cut up. I didn’t look at them till I got to the hotel but I’m in New Jersey so you know what kind of battle it is traffic time these ribs are dry and older than A comedy show from 1862. I cannot believe I think it was the owner of manager that I was sitting there talking to let him know. I’m from the south we came over here for a family function and I’ve seen this real spot. I can’t believe he let me leave and no, I had to go to the hotel through traffic. I’m not from here with these dry bones. The barbecue sauce is sweet baby rays in a cup so if you are looking for ribs. This is not this spot.

Food was amazing! Portion sizes were crazy in a good way. Everyone should come eat here. I was visiting from Europe and had no idea what to expect as I was just doing laundry next door. I’m so glad I went there.

I live in the Ironbound, and I eat bbq in all the places. I had never come here because this one is too far from me…..I’m by the five corners / ferry street. I decided to give this place a try. Very friendly waitresses…I thought it was a Brazilian restaurant, but it’s actually owned by Ecuadorian people, but they kept somehow Brazilian style bbq. The meat was excellent, I had the beef and pork ribs, with rice and fries, and I ordered a small salad. Clean place, good service and food! Value for the money….it’s very overpriced everywhere in the Ironbound.
