I really like this Spanish restaurant, when we are in the Newark area we like to visit it, every time you eat there they give you a delicious soup and bread in abundance, we loved the Galician-style chorizo and octopus as a starter, in the main dishes you can't miss a paella (by the way, Valencian paella is very delicious) some prawns
Garlic and a entrail, the
Dessert was a delicious flan and we accompanied it with a sangria. Something I really like about this place is that the prices are not high like other restaurants in the area, the
Service is very good and the food is what doesn't make us change.

My culinary journey at the Spanish Sangria Restaurant commenced with a promising start: a delectable Caldo Gallego that tantalized the taste buds with its robust flavors and comforting warmth. Moving on to the main course, the grilled swordfish stole the spotlight, showcasing expert grilling techniques that resulted in a perfectly cooked piece of fish bursting with bold and succulent flavors. Accompanied by broiled potatoes that exuded remarkable depth of taste, the dish was nearly flawless, except for the slightly disappointing frozen quality of the vegetables, which detracted from an otherwise stellar ensemble. However, redemption came swiftly in the form of the restaurant's namesake beverage. The sangria, a hallmark of Spanish cuisine, proved to be a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted, serving as a delightful complement to the meal. Concluding the evening on a high note was an espresso that delivered a satisfying conclusion, rounding off the culinary experience with a touch of sophistication. The Spanish Sangria offers a commendable culinary experience, marked by moments of brilliance and nuanced flavors. While minor imperfections detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment, the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity shines through, earning it a solid rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

Awesome place! I have been coming here for over 30 years and it never disappoints! The food is amazing, the sangria is not watered down and the service is exceptional! The most recent visit was to celebrate a group of birthdays. They gave us one of the rooms which fit about 25 of us. Even though we were separated from main dining room, servers were still very attentive. The portions are larger so they are shareable. I had skirt steak that came with veggies and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. We brought our own cakes and they sliced and served for us. We never felt rushed and stayed for over 3 hours. We got there at 3pm on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded. I will continue coming and highly recommend!

Sangria is very good, food was good and the atmosphere is dated and because of that I feel the prices are a little high, but good overall!

Parking: Parking is not bad but the area is not great, but I have never had any problems in the many years of coming here.
