The Chef who worked last Saturday night is a 10/10. I'm sure the same person didn't work Sunday night because the food didn't taste as good. Went from a 10/10 to a 6/10, the jerk chicken on 11/2/25 tasted more like American bbq chicken done on the grill. If I had ordered bbq that would've been a 8/10 but because I was expecting jerk chicken it's a 2/10. I really want to know who was working 11/1/25 noc and their schedule so I can get food when they work. The lady who served me was so pleasant and a 10/10. Hence the 4/5 stars.

Sun Island Plate is so good! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the people there are super friendly. It has such a nice, chill vibe. Definitely my go-to spot when Iâm craving some real island food! Love itđ„!

The oxtail was great, and staff was very nice. However, they did not have jerk chicken, which is what I really wanted, and the substitution curry chicken was just okay. Maybe I will try it another time to make sure it wasnât coincidence.

The food tastes so good and fresh every time I go. The jerk chicken and oxtail are full of flavor, and that sweet chili salmon is crazy good. The peas and rice and cabbage hit every time too. You definitely get your moneyâs worth because the portions are big and the prices are fair. The people working there are super nice and always make you feel welcome. One of the best Jamaican spots around for sure!

I ordered on DoorDash and was disappointed. The pasta was very hard, and the jerk chicken was dry. The pasta was also very dry no sauce or gravy, just big and stiff pieces. Sigh, it wasnât enjoyable at all and couldnât get to have my meal . Had to throw it out ! Ugh đ©
