This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The small platter was immaculate and the owner personally came around to make sure that the guests were having a great time. The steak and goat were the juiciest I've ever had. They retained their flavor and tenderness even after I took them home and microwaved it afterwards. I highly recommend the quality of the service and food here! I will certainly be back.

We went here because another restaurant was booked for an event. We found the food to be different but outstanding. Everything was delicious and the drinks were strong but great. Service was also great. My first time eating Swahili food but it was flavorful and I would eat here again in a minute.

The curry chicken lamb chops spinach cabbage sweet plantains all was magnificent . Will definitely go back next time going back to njpac

Below Average. This is more club than a restaurant. Super loud. Food was getting lost late and stolen. A lot of the music was Nigerian (not Kenyan). Why? You would be better off spending good money at a better restaurant with better food with a restaurant atmosphere. BTW there is little to no parking. Call a ride.

5 stars across the board! The food and customer service was fantastic. No complaints. The receptionist, Yakai, was very welcoming and personable. The waiter was patient and gentle; he checked on us frequently. Would recommend to any age group. 10/10
My experience here was nice. The food was good, the beef is really nice and juicy. The jollof isn’t like West African jollof but that’s okay because this is a Kenyan restaurant. I would love if they would instead prioritize an East African rice dish instead. Our server was pretty nice and the timing of the dishes coming out was just alright. The music is very very loud on weekends so be prepared.

My first time there, my jollef rice very dry as well as my grilled hard chicken. I asked for some sauce or gravy to help the dryness and they charged me extra for the gravy that altered the taste of the Jollef rice.

This was my second time at this restaurant. Although a bit pricy it’s more than made up for by the service received from the hostess Taraja and our waiter Asani. The food was very flavorful and fresh. Drinks were good. I’d go again. Just remember there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill.

It's pretty expensive I enjoy the African heritage atmosphere as well as the people that work in fellowship there. I just wish the prices were lower so the people that live in Newark and hear of this that they can see our people flourishing and not on drugs and broken down it gives hope! However if it's too expensive they won't come in 🥹🕵🏾👁️👀they just look from outside 👁️🗨️I'm so proud of the people and what they do. I'm there with them every week so it was good everything was good The service the people the owner I pray God flourishes them with finances so may be like one day out of a week dinner is half price or something I don't know but the band is fantastic 😊 The Rockin soul band!
