Excellent hospitality and service! Staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The wings weren’t warm enough and the staff offered to warm them up in the oven, which was thoughtful and sweet. The food was delicious and the atmosphere definitely gives PR vibes! Nostalgic and amazing!!

Ordered delivery, Saturday special arroz con gandules with pork, shrimp, Cuban sandwich. Sandwich was on the very bottom of the bag, with the shrimp above, and main meal on top. Sandwich now soaked with the shrimp juice, shrimp container broken from the weight of the food atop, and was given white rice with beans and some super bland pork. They just keep getting worse and worse. Will not return again.

Cozy little spot to have an amazing HOME COOKED MEAL!!! After a long day at work and no cooking required, coming here feels just right!!! I got the shrimp and garlic sauce MOFONGO!!! Delicious!!! 😋 Most importantly very very clean!!!!! I keep hearing they have another place in down town Newark, I need to try it out, but for now I want to feel like I’m in my Grandparents kitchen!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Im writing this as I sit belly full and sooo satiated by the meal I just had at Tainos Kitchen. We put the seafood medley and the pork and shrimp mofongo and it was so delicious. I love garlic so the sauce was perfect. Service was excellent, both staff and customers are friendly.
