I love Uncle Willie’s Wings. I eat here all the time for lunch since I work at gateway Center in Newark. The food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly. I usually order online so I can pick up right away. The only thing I would say is that I wish they opened a little earlier. Often times, we have to go to lunch earlier than noon because we have events at noon where we bring our lunch to, so I miss out on eating there at those times.

Will was working at the front and I asked for a few suggestions and went with the wings. Wasn't sure which sauce I wanted so he offered 4 for me to try

Loved all four; went with stallion and lemon pepper
8 wings (1/2 & 1/2 sauces) with a order of waffle fries Everything was made fresh and was ready in less than 15 minutes.
Fried to golden perfection and sauced just fried. Some of the best wings I have ever had. Waffles fries were perfect.
Will be back and highly recommend

Visiting Newark for a Devils game and saw Uncle Willie’s wings while walking out of the hotel. When we returned later that day for dinner they were closed, but the owner and an employee were still there. They opened up just so we could order. The wings were delicious, the sauces excellent and you cant beat the customer service. Highly recommend and will return next time in Newark.

I placed an order over Thanksgiving break and was charged $55.00 for my order. I walked to the store and found it closed, with no notifications or information on their website. Their app still charged me. Then, when I tried calling numerous times, no one answered, and I even left an email, which wasn't responded to as well. I would say this establishment needs to work on customer service.

The owner and staff is very friendly, professional and patient. They were actually closed and didn't mind to open up and take my order.. The food is delicious and fresh and I was surprised to know they sell a variety of things.. I'll be frequent new customer for sure.

The food wasn't great, and it took 10min to get my food b/c the cashier was not paying attention and didn't give me my food until the person after me got his and she realized my bag was waiting behind her. Also, the fries didn't come with ketchup and I didn't realize until I was home, it would be nice to give it by default or ask the customer, but this is a minor issue I guess.

Just left this place and got back to the hotel and let me tell you uncle Willie’s did not disappoint from the season waffle fries and Mac and cheese and the hot fire Dylon wings. Should went a notch down on the heat but overall best chicken spot I had in New Jersey hands down.
Food was great and really nice staff really liked the look of the menu and the restraint was clean.

Wanted 1 wing but I had to purchase 6 wings for 12 bucks. Fine. No problem. Took forever. Sat down to eat it I saw metal foil on the chicken. I ordered wings but got drumsticks. Whatever. But the chicken smelled. I was nauseous so I couldn't eat it . Still burping it after 7hrs. Next time I'll just have the expensive salad bar that's across from them. Never had any issues with the salad bar. That 1 star is to post this review.
