Yes we do go out our way sometimes just to visit this place. We like the atmosphere, the view of the park and we do have memories here, good ones. It’s a great place to relax while getting a coffee. Beijos Lili, we love you.

Veneza Bakery is a smallish scale bakery and doubles a bodega. Eliane really makes the visit here special. I just came for some snacks to power through the day but she is really friendly making it more than the run of the mill bodegas that populate Newark/NYC. As I took a break, I watched other regulars or passerby's come in ordering various things. One thing that seems to be the hot item here is the expressos, which I watched three different people order. There are baked goods here, but not to the degree of a large scale bakery. They did have one of my favorite candy's that I enjoyed as a kid and still do which is cool. As the name implies, Veneza is also a deli, so you can get a sandwich here as well. It will run you about $5-$6 but they're stacked. If you're looking for lunch or a pick me up. Check out Veneza and say hello to Eliane.
