Disappointing experience. Ordered a coffee at Vespern Tavern using their QR code ordering system, which is supposed to deliver items directly to your table. The system looked fancy and efficient, but unfortunately the coffee never arrived. No follow-up, no explanation. If you’re short on time at EWR, this ordering setup may not be reliable.

Was super hungry and contemplated ordering a steak at an airport but boy was I surprised. We decide to try this place because it smelled good near our terminal. The NY STRIP 12 OZ was cooked PERFECTLY medium well. Ive had a lot of steak in my life and this was up there with the best. We ordered the sweet potato fries and they were awesome too as well as the cheese curds. I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in NY. Thank you for making my experience a great one.

The place seats at least 50. There were 10 or so patrons and I still waited 20min for fries and a draft beer. The fries weren’t even hot. I guess they were too busy watching the game or talking to pickup the order? A single beer and fries costs over $30!

Poor food quality. Spicy chicken sandwich $24.99 - protein was paper thin and the fries were soggy. Food & tip is prepaid without communicating intent for card at the time of ordering. Tip amount selected without input from customer.
This place really does suck pretty bad. The chicken wings were good, but the burger was way overcooked, fries were old, and they even managed to burn half of my bun. I told the server about the problem and she didn’t really seem to care or at least not enough to do anything about it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else By the way, the Surf restaurant right next-door is the same food and same Ownership… uhg

Ordered steak sandwich and fries. Steak had good flavor but fries ice cold.The server was nice and after I flagged her down she ordered us new fries. My issue is for the price I should of never got cold fries ever. Just because you have non stop flow of people going by because you lucked out and got a spot in a busy airport shouldn't mean your standards should drop.

Prices are the same in all the terminal. All CRAZY expensive!!! Like 20 usd for a glasse of poor wine.. When you order with QR Code the food is not delivered to your place, my wife had to walk through the terminal to get her food from this restaurant waiting for her and a staff member just say “sorry” but they never thought about getting it delivered to our table.
My advice: get food before coming to the airport, and for drinks.. I’m sorry you’ll have to pay 7usd your bottle of water

Order online to receive on my seat close to the gate, 30 minutes later and nothing. Came to the restaurant and first they told me that was delivered already. After insisting that never happened, the manager came and told me that the delivery person never showed up. My order was there, cold. Why they didn’t take and delivered to me? They didn’t care. Total mess the restaurant, employees lost and didn’t care with the customers.
