The bagel was good but they only had plain cream cheese and they barely put any cream cheese on the bagel

Unfortunately, the range of products is very limited, with a total of 7 different sandwiches and the bagels are not New York ones, but simple bread donuts with cream. We took two Monte Cristos, which were very heavy to digest.Egg, turkey, ham, fry bread, nightmare. The staff is quite friendly and quick to serve. The prices are as always out of my mind.A sandwich is $15, luckily the taxes here are low and there is no tip..

This is my first time writing a yelp review but I feel I have to warn others of how horrible the coffee from this place was. Not only did it taste like nail polish removed but I didn't ask for sugar and when I went to dump out the nail polish remover tasting coffee there was about an inch thickness of hardened sugar (this block of sugar was fully taking up about 1/8 of the cup). The bakery items smell great but don't let the smells fool you into thinking they could make a basic iced coffee.

I'd rather drink dirty dishwater. Lukewarm coffee is awful. Weak coffee is awful. I got both at Zaro's. The server re-heated it in the microwave, which solved the temperature problem well enough to let the weakness problem become crystal clear. $2.88 down the drain where the coffee should have been. You'll get a better cup for a lot less at your favorite bodega, street truck or gas station.

Rude, rushed, and aggressive staff - mediocre breakfast sandwiches for the price. Do not recommend.

They definitely skimp on the egg and bacon. Ridiculous prices.

I love Zaro's Bakery at Newark Penn Station. Although this train station is probably one of the busiest in America, the friendly people who work at Zaro's know exactly how I take my coffee and are awesome to deal with.Zaro's staff easily contend with at least 150 customers an hour during the morning rush. What is amazing is they stay so nice and calm as they contend with the avalanche of coffee-drinkers.All in, I cannot say enough good things about Zaro's Bakery at Penn Station. They could double their prices and I would still go there because they’re superstars.

This place is open, but it's not good. Every time I order from there something is stale or just not good.

How does the bagel place not have bagels at 11am? For such an expensive and over priced items I would at least expect good customer service, but everytime I come here the people are incredibly rude. I understand the area is not that great, and you come across people everyday ask for free things and beg, but as a paying customer, they need to do better with respect and kindness. No one should have to be talked down by someone who your literally paying/ getting services from

Bought the biscuits from Penn Station on the way to Maryland. Sweet and a bit dry.
