terrible attitude. no one answers the phone. if they do, they don't speak english. no smile, no common courtesy at all. i was on a mission so i gave her a pass. the lady did not want to answer questions about the different dishes. i asked to look at a dish she had in the fridge. she told me it was goat and onion wth shrimp. she refused to open the top so i could see better. i got the price and ordered that dish. she took the one out of the fridge. i said i want a fresh dish. she said this one is too old. she took it in the back , heated it up and charged me $15 for it. when i got to my car, i saw the goat had been cooked 2 weeks ago and there was not shrimp but onions. the meat was black, tough, and dryed out like beef jerky. i walked back 4 blocks. she was so guilty, i did not even have to ask for my money back.

highly and i mean highly insulted and upset. i ordered goat soup and fufu easy right no. i received a broth not spicy mixed with cow chicken and beef. how dare you serve me meat you think i won't be able to identify because im american obviously. trust this newark girl from elizabeth ave grew up with nigerian culture, my best friend was nigerian i ate fufu and goat almost everyday. i know goat meat im totally insulted because now that i live in the berbs of course i gotta either drive to ny for african food or starve. nope im tryna support my* people and this was not cool. on top of not one drink on the menu was available. umm then take it off ! black people do better damn wth we cried wolf for if all we gone do is stay the same. smh so dissapointed but hey ny got it right. damn jersey

This place can definitely cook .They give u a lot of food for the price u pay for .Sometimes u gotta wait a bit longer for u food if u don't call ahead of time but it's worth the wait cause they make it fresh .So make sure u call advance or u will wait .
