Sweet Amalia’s is wonderful little shop and cafe! Great and attentive service, and excellent sandwiches. The potato salad was especially good.

Beat oysters I've had. They are a little expensive but I thought they were definitely worth it.

First time there with my family on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Didn't know what to expect, but I have never had Oysters where the shell was spotless. Hey didn't have a hint of any smell which tells me they are fresh as he'll. The sandwiches were to perfection, nothing dried out. Pleasant staff what more do you want. Highly recommend.

Nice Byob location. Customer service was great. Food was really good. We had the raw oysters, first time tasting them, Wow... delicious. Also had a shrimp sandwich. That was really good as well. I believe the prices are on point for what they serve. Fresh, delicious food. We'll be back soon.

Went to Sweet Amalia for our anniversary lunch today and sampled several items off the board!

Started with 6 of their Sweet Amalia oysters and their Sweet Corn Bruschetta! They both were delicious.

Next we ordered 6 of their Sloop Point, 6 of their Laughing Gulls along with an order of their Tuna Crudo - they all didn’t disappoint!

Then we rounded out our visit with their Eggplant sandwich and their Oyster Po Boy that featured fried Sweet Amalia’s that we shared. Both were served on a crusty, sesame seeded Po Boy roll.

Everything was fantastic which was complicated but their superb, friendly service - made you feel like family! The atmosphere was warm and the seating on the patio was enhanced with today’s perfect weather!

They were continually busy while we were there filling all of their tables. In addition to the awesome fare, they also offered local produce, hot sauces, jams, jellys and other cooking tools and cook books!

I would give them 5 Stars in all categories. I however felt that the shucked oysters were rather small and with that overpriced at $ 22.00 for a half dozen. All of the other menu items that we enjoyed were a little pricey but definitely not unreasonable given the outstanding quality!

I would definitely rate them as a great place to try - well worth the trip down! Give them a try!

The food at Sweet Amalia’s does taste well. My review is based on the food you get for the cost spent. We are small business owners as well & driving costs play a major role in everything. We spent, quite honestly too much after tax/tip, for the tuna, shrimp sandwich, baked oysters and a kids chicken meal (2 adults/1kid). The kids meal was perhaps the best value ($12) because it included one full cutlet with a handful of fries that covered the needs of a young child. The tuna was second best in value because you were able to take multiple bites from it without quickly looking into an empty bowl. The shrimp burger for $20 did not come with fries and the sandwich alone was not filling at all, it was definitely bun heavy and protein light. A few fries or even a couple pieces of produce would help this dish because again it’s a higher cost item and you may not be satiated. Lastly, the baked oysters, again, they tasted yummy but for a whopping $18 you get four and we shared them b/t two people so it was gone in 2 slurps each. The staff is attentive, the ambience is relaxing, the food has good flavor but for the value, you may still remain hungry or just have to be comfortable with the price tag, which for some is probably no issue but for those more conscious of value, be advised. Upon arriving home we did have to eat dinner.

Great food and friendly service. We had the Sweet Amalia oysters, gazpacho with shrimp and avocado, fried olives with blue cheese sauce, and delicious French fries with dipping sauce. They have local wine, hard cider, and soft drinks. No beer. Prices were reasonable and food came out quickly. Seating is outside but clean and shaded by table umbrellas. You should stop off driving by.

Fantastic lunch spot. Oysters are obviously great but the sleeper hits are the chowder and sandwiches! This is the fried clam Sammy. Five stars across the board.

Fun little middle of nowhere place with great seafood. No indoor seating so be prepared. Picnic tables and people share them which was cool.

My husband and I decided to take a drive after seeing a segment on the news about Sweet Amelia’s. The clam sandwich excellent, the bacon was a nice touch. The French fries were especially good very light and tasty, my husband got the raw oysters superb. This place is real gem and so refreshing to be as good as advertised. While the cost was alittle high this is a given when you are getting such great quality fresh seafood.
