“We had a 50 person party yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet they put out for us and I have to give a HUGE shout out to Matt (I’m pretty sure that was his name. Big smile and his hair in a bun). He was the wait staff taking care of all of us and he killed it! Super pleasant and he worked his butt off to serve us all. If you get Matt, take good care of him!!!!”

“This is by far my favorite bagel place. I've probably tried a dozen from Rutherford to Newton New Jersey. My husband would probably say they're all good. This one has a jalapeno cheddar not just a jalapeno like many others. The bagel itself is a softer airier inside with a normal bagel exterior which I enjoyed more than then tradional dense bagel found many of the other places we tried.”

“Took my daughter here for breakfast after her swim class and WOW! I had the best Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich! It was perfect in every way. This place is amazing, great pricing, portions were perfect and they were so nice too. We will definitely be back for more breakfast! Even got to meet a nice couple, Terry and Joe, who go there often and also raved about the diner...was glad to put a smile on their faces by paying for their meal and they said I helped to give them some faith back into humanity. “We wanted a cake with our cats photo on it. After about an hour waiting, it was determined it wasn't going to be possible. Chris, the young man helping us, kept checking with us during our wait. He showed us a gel icing likeness of our cat he did. After about an hour, we decided to go with the icing likeness, rather than the photo. It came out fantastic! Chris refused to charge us and just kept apologizing. We told We understood and didn't feel he needed to apologize. No matter how much we insisted, he would not take our money. That right there, is excellent customer service. We have always gone to DQ in Newton to get our ice cream cakes. After today, trust me, we will ALWAYS go to DQ in Newton! Thanks Chris! Fuzzy loved his cake!”

“We had gone to the Spring Diner a while back so we decided to try it again. Mind you, it was great the first time but this time it was BETTER. The portions were large, price wise very reasonable, service fantastic! Can't wait to go back and try some more great food! The restaurant may be small but their portions make up for it. If you blink your eyes, you will pass it but I am telling you DO NOT PASS IT UP!”

“Had some errands to do in Newton but am from out of town… shop’s name made me click from Google Maps, I’m so glad I looked before driving home hungry.

Awesome selection of delicious sounding smoothies, wraps, salads, quesadillas. I had a peach raspberry smoothie, smooth creamy and delicious! And my chicken gyro wrap was HUGE! And delicious!

Prices were fair for the quality of food purchased. I didn’t feel lile garbage after eating out like you do when you stop at a fast food place… and this was just as fast.”

“I love visiting there the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff or students and professors are very friendly. On April I placed a special order for my husbands birthday and it was a great success. The cake was perfect, not too sweet, it had a great presentation and the taste was perfect, my special order came out great!

“The prepared food is so good! We had the TLT and it was so fresh and delicious. And we really appreciated the kind counter staff who were quick with their smiles and made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the big range of vegan goodies and scooped up quite a few treats to enjoy! Also, their coffee was so good and they had a wide selection of nondairy milks and creamers. Great spot to stock up on a picnic before going hiking!”

“Friendly old school bar. Mix of young and older patrons. Pool table, karaoke on Friday nights. Special events outside during the summer. Great bartenders. Owner is a pillar of the community supporting local businesses and holding charity events.”

“Boomers is a very small, intimate bar where everyone knows everyone. Mostly Blue collar crowd throwing back after a hard day. Surprisingly level and well kept 6' pool table, although there is a short 3' stick required for some close walls and people) and competitive players.

Reasonably priced beer and shot joint, they have bar food also. I'd give it 5 stars for a dirty old biker like me, but it's usually a crowd of older guys during the day getting buzzed and shooting the breeze. Very nice lady behind the bar. Occasionally packed with a broad variety of ages and gender.

They even have a good sized smokers deck on the back, and ample parking. Good stop for bikers swinging through (but it's Stillwater and the local police are vigilant ball busters about the 25mph speed limit through town especially if you have loud pipes)

PS:. They have take out package goods as well (beer anyway, maybe more)

“Visited on 4/16/2023 around noon. I was a little surprised they didn’t have windows open, probably short staffed, also it’s early in the season so I understand. A girl walked over to us promptly to take our order. She was super friendly. The ice cream was good.”

If like food from Mexico you need to try this place, if you like texmex or Americanized come here knowing it'll be a different experience.”

Cocktails, wine, main meals and dessert were great as was the ambiance and the hospitality of Dina, who we met, her sister and the entire staff. We live about 50 minutes away but we will make it a point to return in the not so distant future.”

“Just went through the drive thru and realized after ordering I didn’t have my wallet, I drove up to the window and told the two men working that I unfortunately needed to cancel my order. Instead of cancelling it they gave us everything and extra donuts for my kids! Amazing customer service and went above and beyond to be kind. I’ll definitely be going back to lay my “tab” and giving extra tips all around! So thankful for them.”
