AG Pizza & Restaurant (Andover)

We stopped there to have lunch. I was with my friend who is 85 years old..we ordered off the lunch menu. We each had chicken marsala we had calamari as an appetizer and some wine and a dessert and lo and behold. They did not charge us for the lunch price. They charge us for the dinner price. We got there roughly 1;45pm don’t hand me a lunch menu and charge me for a dinner price I didn’t scrutinize the bill as I guess I should have. I called the restaurant three hours later and they wanted nothing to do with it bad business.

I stopped in at 5:15pm to grab a few slices on my way home. They had no plain pizza. Then the pizza guy turns around and says I’m making one right now I said OK. He than said you’re gonna have to wait 10 or 15 minutes… Now he said I’m sorry, sir. It’s gonna take about 10 minutes. I would’ve understood and I would’ve waited. But The pizza man was an A hole The way he was speaking to me. Try hiring nice friendly people. I swear to God, I’ll never go back. There are plenty of other options in town so if you’re gonna treat people like this.

Most of my wings came with a bunch of feathers left on it. Never again. I should get a refund for this.

Good pizza and a full menu of Italian cuisine.Also has a bar with wine beer and mixed drinks. Friendly servers and outdoor dining in season. Nice place!

Young ladies working front counter are not qualified or don't care!
Raw Hands all over slice as they place in oven. They also brushed and cleaned oven while my pie was cooking. Cmon, man!!!

The owner needs to retrain or hire middle age for serving customers. Gotta pay Mr. owner. Cutting corners and saving on payroll going to cost your business returning customers like myself!
Pizza and cleanliness were fair after a few visits. But will not return. Thousand 🍕 spots

I recommend you don’t place an order for delivery takes about an hour and a half to about two hours then I called them and they say they’re still sitting at the store and asked me if I want free dessert kind of pathetic

I went into A&G in Andover last night to pick up a pizza. After I memtioned that it was for my son’s birthday, the kind gentleman made a batch of zeppolis and gave them to him! The BEST pizza around.

Good food and table service but you should only use the online service to order take-out. They never seem to get a phone or counter order correct.

The pizza is a generous size by today's standards, and good consistency in quality. We ordered tonight and went in to have a beer while waiting, about 9:05. The head server tells us "we're closed" as we head to the bar, then says "just kidding", though pretty sure she meant it. They say they close at 10 on a Saturday, but I think 9 is the actual close time.

I ordered delivery at 5:32pm. Received my order at 7:23pm. I was told I would receive it by 6:30pm.
I called twice while waiting and was told “the driver left a few minutes ago” the first time I called. This restaurant is 10 minutes from my house max. After 25 more minutes of waiting I called again and was told “the driver got lost and came back to the restaurant. He is leaving now.”
When he finally got to my house he was rude and not the least bit apologetic. The girl I spoke to twice on the phone did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I spent $50 for cold, mediocre food that obviously sat around for over an hour. I will never eat here again! Awful customer service and food. The least they could do is give people some kind of credit for their own screwup.
I do NOT recommend eating here or ordering delivery/takeout!

This is insane! I placed an order and it was 1.5 hours late. I had to cancel it. I’ve never seen anything like this.

P.S thanks for your reply. I didn’t contact the manager, but the front desk receptionist girl was uncaring and kept saying to wait 5 more minutes for 45 minutes. She didn’t even apologize.
It’s a shame because the food is really delicious.

Good Italian entrees and pizza. Great delivery person but order takers are spotty. I’ve hung up on the girls who answer the phone. Airheads. Wish had better, real cheesecake.
