Went on a whim because there’s not really any good breakfast joints in the town of Newton. Well cafe serendipity is just that, a really great place for a bite to eat. Got the “fat pat” and it was amazing. 10/10 will be back again.

Quiet and comfortable environment with excellent service. But the food is OUTSTANDING!!! The pancakes are fluffy and tasty! Bacon and eggs prepared perfectly, which is not easy because I’m very picky.

Such a sweet place. No pressure to leave. The food is homemade. There is a coffee station to make your own cups to stay or take out. It is now our new place for us girls to meet. Breakfast can be ordered anytime. I didn't notice if there was wheelchair accessibilityVegetarian options: I just noticed that there was vegetarian options I'm not one.Kid-friendliness: I only noticed a kids menuParking: Parking right out frontDietary restrictions: I don't have any. You need to go & check it out yourself.

Our 1st visit here was for breakfast before we left for home to Richmond. We are in our 60's and lived in the area for all of that only to retire to VA in 2020 & can't believe we didn't know about it

At almost 9 dollars for a burnt cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich with semi stale bread and so little meat you can't even taste it I think Im done stopping in here. Borderline highway robbery.

Great prices. Way nicer inside than I was expecting. Just the right size Taylor ham. If your looking for an overstuffed sandwich, this is probably not the place for you. My only disappointment was, there was no iced coffee.

I wish that I could give more than one star, but I have to dispute any other reviews here. My wife and I stopped by somewhere around 6:20 and there was no one else in the place. My wife ordered two breakfast sandwiches, Taylor Ham, Egg on a roll with Ketchup and Taylor Ham, Cheese with Ketchup. She emphasized the order and made sure it was known. Well, maybe not enough coffee that day. Taylor Ham and Egg with Ketchup all good, but the Taylor Ham and Cheese with Ketchup had egg included. So, two pieces of Taylor ham with egg, (not wanted) and Ketchup. I took the eggs and half of the roll and fed them to the buzzards out the window. The other two halves were put together and I ate it because I was hungry. The rolls had to have been frozen, although probably from Anthony & Sons, the rolls were not fresh. I placed the other two halves together and ate what I had. Not good, and my wife's was not good either because we all know that you need a fresh roll. Also, if you do stop, do take out because their drinks are absurdly expensive. Sorry I could not say anything better.

A friend and I came here after a bike ride, and Cafe Serendipity truly hit the spot. I got the Fat Pat breakfast sandwich, which had sausage, eggs, cheese, hash browns, jalapenos, onions, and salt/pepper/ketchup, and it was delicious. Although the sandwich sounds akin to a breakfast Fat Sandwich, I found the sandwich to be a good ratio/diversity of toppings that made it really feel like a balanced sandwich and a reasonable way to start the day compared to the classic Fat Sandwiches we see around our state that feel like a momentuous eating feat if you finish one--though to be fair I was coming off of a 20 mile bike ride so take my opinion with a grain of salt because I was starving. All of that is to say, this breakfast sandwich was one of the best I ever had in my life. The staff were so kind too. Overall, I can't wait to be back!
