Sent my two teens to the Hampton Dairy Queen half hour ago for two medium blizzards. They were charged 12.74 for the two but came home with a mini and a medium. Being young they were to shy to say something and didn't want to get the girl into trouble. Then the one was missing the cookie dough. We have been going there since I was young and no this won't stop us from returning. Staff just needs to pay a little more attention to the orders.

I decided to go to DQ tonight, Even though I knew i was going to get ripped off and would probably be better off getting 1/2 gallon for $4/5 at ShopRite. BOY, was I RIPPED off. I was charged $6.30 for a SMALL peanut butter cup blizzard. I almost walked out and said “ Forget it, you can keep it” but I didn’t. BUT IF you’re going to CHARGE me that much for a SMALL blizzard AT LEAST MAKE IT WORTH IT!!!! The ice cream was CRYSTALLIZED AND BARELY HAD FLAVOR …… AND it might as well been soft serve in a cup. THERE WAS BARELY ANY PEANUT BUTTER CUPS IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!! ( maybe 1/2 a SINGLE peanut cup) … AND for what was there in peanut butter cups it was ALL SMASH into TINY pieces ( it was hard to tell if I was eating one of the ICE CRYSTALS or a PEANUT BUTTER CUP)…….NO WONDER WHY THE PARKING LOT WAS EMPTY. . . From now on, I’ll be MAKING MY OWN BLIZZARDS. I should have gotten a tub of ice cream and bag of candy’s for $9 AND end up with 4/5 of DQ SMALL Serving sizes ( not to mention BETTER QUALITY) compared to paying $6.30 for CRYSTALIZED low butterfat “blizzard “ with BARLY any candy in it! Unreal! DONT think I’ll be going back!!

We wanted a cake with our cats photo on it. After about an hour waiting, it was determined it wasn't going to be possible. Chris, the young man helping us, kept checking with us during our wait. He showed us a gel icing likeness of our cat he did. After about an hour, we decided to go with the icing likeness, rather than the photo. It came out fantastic! Chris refused to charge us and just kept apologizing. We told We understood and didn't feel he needed to apologize. No matter how much we insisted, he would not take our money. That right there, is excellent customer service. We have always gone to DQ in Newton to get our ice cream cakes. After today, trust me, we will ALWAYS go to DQ in Newton! Thanks Chris! Fuzzy loved his cake!
