KFC gravy has gone down hill. Well hell it's hit the bottom of the hill. It is so soupy now. Used to be nice and thick. Was always my favorite gravy of any restaurant. KFC in Newton had such an understaffing issue. Yes, I chose to wait, but still it takes long time. Nothing on the workers there. As usual it's the owners who want to do without to save a buck. Customers be Damned. Got the saucy nuggets. So saucy is in the name. But didn't even have enough sauce on them to cover the nuggets up.

Super slow and they always makes you pull forward and then forget about you. Didn’t get a straw for my flat soda. Missed sides and my 12 piece had 3 breast and the rest were “wings” and 2 legs. The wings barely have anything on them to count for a decent meal. This location is awful.

WHY IS THIS PLACE ALLOWED TO SERVE FOOD. Go in there! Serious? DO NOT do the drive through. Go meet your cook, your server, and the floor they stand on.AND literally, you are most likely the only customer at any given time. The parking lot remains empty because most all the locals know, RUN AWAY and don't look back.I know it isn't the fault of the under paid staff, but the ownership must just not care. How can you be in business? Is this a drug laundering business?I must admit, when you had popcorn chicken, I took the chance. I figured you would deep fry off all the bacteria anyway. Now, I can't find an reason to go back.God knows what you do to keep the doors open. I really can't figure it out. You are half a star away from being a two star fast food joint. That's pretty much the low of the low.Bring back some respect. Clean up your act and maybe, bring back food peeps actually want to eat.

We were passing through Newton, NJ around lunchtime & stopped in for chicken sandwiches. Upon entering the "restaurant", I was surprised how beat up & dingy the place is. It didn't even smell like food was being cooked. Overall, it had an unpleasant, stale odor. My first thought was to leave, but we were in a bit of a hurry, so we ordered. We watched as the chicken for our sandwiches was pulled from a warming tray, even though the sandwich wrappers claim it to be fried fresh. Basically, the chicken was dry & tasted like it had been sitting on that warming tray all morning. I can only assume no one from corporate KFC checks up on the franchises.
I'm not one to write reviews but on this occasion I can't let it go. My husband places an order for 3 pieces of chicken with 2 sides and another for 2 pieces of chicken with sides. The chicken came out super dry and flavorless. I thought it was because they gave it a crispy type and the order of the 3 pieces of chicken only gave them legs, my husband asked if they could change any of the pieces and they changed 2 of the legs for 2 wings. We had to throw it away. I decide to go in to order other pieces of original type chicken, the manager on duty assists me on the night of December 9, 2023, I tell him that I want 5 pieces of original type chicken and he tells me that they only come up to 4 pieces of chicken and he follow the 8-piece one. Well, I tell him to give me the order for the 8 original type pieces and I tell him twice. They made me wait about 25 minutes and I don't see anyone placing the order. The only thing the employees did was clean the kitchen. I see the manager go out back to smoke, he comes in and we continue waiting. In the end one of the employees comes and he gives me the order but unfortunately I didn't check it and when I checked they gave me the crispy pieces that were just as tasteless and dry. The sides that had been ordered were old. I wanted to go back in because the trouble was too much but it wasn't worth it. I'm sorry I didn't read the previous reviews. I do not recommend it. We wasted our money on a place that deserves to be closed.

The lady at the drive thru was very horrible and disgusting with her attitude, she was inpatient and she was yelling at me when i was asking my fiancé what drink he wanted and he was asking what do they have because the last time i was there they didn’t have everything so she proceeded to yell “EVERYTHING !!” and she didn’t even want to give me my food she had me pull up and had the chef come outside to give it to me. (i didn’t even get what i wanted because she didn’t even listen)

I'm not exaggerating this place should be shut down. First of all, our cashier was not even speaking up at all. Had to repeat our order like 5 times and his customer service sucked. The tables and floors are dirty. Counter top at checkout is sticky and the floors are covered in shit. Not to mention it is cramped as hell! The food. Gave us 3 coleslaws for absolute 0 reason. The chicken is dry and slimy and coleslaw is watered down. There were 5 people working this day, 2 of them which were sitting on their asses at some table playing games on their phone. I seriously don't get it. This place needs to be shut down or someone needs to come in and put some sense in these people's brains.
