We did the tasting menu. It was great. The oysters were fantastic. Each course was properly sized and delicious. At $100.00 a true bargain. We live an hour away and the trip was definitely worth it.

The food was truly delicious! The snapper was perfectly cooked, the pasta was rich and flavorful, and the burrata was fresh and a great way to kick off the meal. The portion sizes were spot on, not too big, not too small and I actually left feeling full and satisfied. The drinks were great, and I have to call out the macchiato specifically, it was out of this world. Easily one of the best I've had. The atmosphere was modern and inviting, and the service hit the perfect balance of friendly and attentive. Overall, The Circle is an easy 5-star spot. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to others.

Our second time here was a little less successful than the first. The amuse bouche of a tiny fingerling potato piece with an incredibly delicious sauce was perfect. My appetizer of the oysters with a yuzu (I think I remember correctly) granita was good but not as good as the oysters on my first visit. My husband got the butternut squash soup with curry foam, and it was perfection! Now to the entrees: I got the duck breast but I forget what the sauces were. I found the duck to be overly salty, but it was nothing compared to the scallops dish my husband ordered. The scallops were encrusted with salt, and the broth was extremely salty as well. One question: are servers coached to say things like, how are we enjoying our appetizers? That pretension makes me cringe. Unless the server is sitting down to eat with me, “we” aren't enjoying anything.

From being greeted by enchanting music in the parking lot to entering the front door with antique wide plank floors, the mood was set. Surrounded by modern art and lighting and more soothing music, our servers could not have been more attentive. The food was some of the best I've ever had, comparable to any big city 5 Star establishments. I highly recommend The Circle to anyone seeking a very special experience!

It is a wonderful upscale restaurant if you want something out of the ordinary---the food is extraordinary. Definitely a restaurant for foodies. Our server was awesome and their cocktails were very very good. I can't wait to go back to taste the rest of the menu.

I’m a true foodie, and The Circle in Newton, NJ is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve eaten all over Sussex and Morris County, and nothing even comes close.
The food is out of this world. Every bite is packed with flavor and cooked to absolute perfection. The service was just as incredible. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in and truly cared about the entire experience.
Honestly, this place should never get anything less than five stars. The atmosphere, the presentation, the attention to detail—everything is exceptional.
If you haven’t been to The Circle yet, go. You’ll understand exactly why people can’t stop talking about it. It’s the best dining experience in New Jersey, period.

This is great if you are into more gourmet / fancy food. Unusual twists on dishes. Not my thing unfortunately. I like traditional dishes. However- if you are a foodie that loves smaller portion dishes with unusual seasonings and ingredients this is perfect. Nice people. Great drinks!
