There's a lot of competition in this neighborhood for a gooooooood sandwich .... let's say a chicken parm or ham, salami and cheese, etc.. dime a dozen around here. I don't write reviews, but this place deserves its due props.Firstly, not yesterday's bread. That's a deal breaker and popular in ny delis. Secondly, the service is very friendly, has suggestions, and they know they're stuff. Lastly, everything is fresh and I haven't even tried the dried sausages or anything yet..If I had to make a critique, which I'm doing to show I don't work there or own the place, I'd change the layout.. its awkward.All-in-all, this is my new go-to... I love Cappeluttis, American subhouse, and big stashes.

On Sat., Nov. 4th, I visited Rizzoli’s Little Italy for the first time. I ordered one (1) sandwich of Prosciutto with fresh Mozzarella and olive oil. Admittedly, the sandwich was good; however, the size (which I did not see immediately) was better suited for a serving of two (2) people. On Sat., Nov. 11th, I returned to Rizzoli’s. I was met by an individual, who I describe as having a nervous outward disposition; almost as if he was prepared to handle a perceived or imagined threat. I said, “good morning”, and I expressed my interest in another sandwich. This time, I specifically requested a size more suitable for one (1) person. I asked for the sandwich to be made using a round roll, and this individual categorically said, “no, I will do that!” In complete shock, I said, “no problem, thank you anyway”, and I left the store never to return again. Under no circumstances is it acceptable for a business owner to tell a paying client, “No” over something so minimal. This is especially true when one considers that I am the one paying for the food and eating it. I drove to Michael’s Salumeria on Valley Brook Avenue where I was met with understanding and a clear willingness to accommodate my specific request. I DO NOT recommend this business at all!

We've been coming here for many years, and with every visit we are always more than satisfied. Not only does Razzoli's have the BEST sandwiches around, you definitely get more than you pay for. The sandwiches here are not just YUGE; they're monstrous, in the best possible way. You definitely get more than you pay for. Each bite is an explosion of flavors that leaves you craving more. The variety on their menu is mind-boggling - from classic combos to innovative creations, there's something for every sandwich enthusiast. But it's not just about the food - the warm, family-like atmosphere created by the owner and staff is what sets this place apart. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming vibe. The owner's passion for their craft is infectious, and it's clear that they take pride in serving up not only fantastic food but also an unforgettable experience. It's not uncommon to see the owner chatting with regulars like old friends, and the camaraderie extends to the staff as well. You are sure to walk out with a smile after feeling the authenticity of every conversation. They work together seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. Whether you're a solo diner or visiting with a group, you're guaranteed to leave with a satisfied stomach and a heart full of warmth.I can't recommend this place enough - if you're a sandwich lover in search of not only great food but also a place where you're treated like cherished family, this is the spot for you. Kudos to the owner and staff for creating a true haven for sandwich aficionados!

1st time and I have to say the food was great and I’d go back in an instant…….actually not sure if I’d go back, the staff was arguing in front of everyone and the f***bombs were flying quicker than they can get our orders ready.Shame to witness such disrespect and lack of camaraderie amongst each other

This place is amazing! Stopped in after a busy morning for some lunch. Was thoroughly pleased with the good vibes and great sense of humor of the staff. All their food is homemade every morning and it tastes so fresh and delicious. The two guys behind the counter went out of their way to make sure we ordered what we would love and we sure did love it! You must try their homemade fresh mozz, roasted red peppers, and tuna.

can't say enough good things about this place! they never disappoint and they are always so patient with my orders considering i'm so picky ..they knock it out of the park everytime with the biggest sandwiches i've ever had .. the prosciutto is delicious and the mozzarella is just as good.. you really can't go wrong for breakfast, lunch or dinner and it always looks so festive with such a welcoming environment and staff! they make a pretty good cappuccino too!highly recommended *****

Ordered two half subs - 1 chicken cutlet - asked for "a little" balsamic vinegar and it was saturated with it. Chicken cutlets were practically burnt. - 1 roast beef sub with everything except peppers - was ok but came with no tomatoes. Check prices - they are more than menu on here. $28.89 for this wasn't worth it. Disappointed.

Amazing family owned restaurant that I discovered while on a trip to NJ. They make their own bread / garlic bread and fresh made mozzarella along with a handful of other items. The sandwich I ordered below was half of a sandwich and that was a lot even for a big guy like me. I would definitely stop in and try this place again.
