The experience at Romo was pleasant. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was great. The appetizers were tasty and well done. The main meal (mofongo) was quite disappointing as it was made in a “croqueta” type of texture. Overall the waitress was very accommodating.
The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, kind, and professional, which made the experience start on a positive note. The staff clearly cares about hospitality, and that deserves recognition.
That said, the orecchiette with broccoli rabe was a complete miss to put it very politely. Instead of a traditional garlic-and-oil preparation, it came smothered in a thick, heavy cream sauce that tasted more appropriate for a bland chicken franchise dish than an Italian...
