I wish i could give no stars. I was in this dump a couple of weeks ago. The server came to our table asked us what we wanted to drink, excused herself & never came back! We waited about 10 minutes & still no sign of the server, but a roach showed up on the table! That roach was more engaging than our server!!! Needless to say we got up & left. I have been here a few times, it has never been a good experience. There is a woman I assume is the owner who always looks annoyed, & the tables never look clean. Thank god for the Beacon Diner & The Gotham Dinner just up the road where the service is always 10 stars!! Do yourself a favor & RUN from this place!

I hesitated to leave this review after seeing the manager argue with customers in other reviews, but here we are.
I was in a couple days ago and service was slow and owner was unfriendly, food came out lukewarm and overcooked, and the place itself didn’t feel very clean. What should’ve been a simple diner meal turned into an uncomfortable experience. And it STANK in there. Might’ve been the owner as she just walked by and the smell lingered.
Criticism shouldn’t be met with defensiveness. If multiple people are saying the same things, it might be worth listening instead of arguing. I won’t be back.

This diner is one of my favorites. I like it vetter than Chit Chat and Coachouse in Hackensack or Union City. Their cajun chicken salad is good and other salads. I like the atmosphere also as decorations.

Very reliable diner, always good service and food. Desserts are occasionally a bit fridge tasting, like at other diners, but otherwise the food is great.

One of the only old time diners around that still provides a full dinner service for a reasonable old time diner price.

As soon as you walk in, you know it's gonna be a great NJ diner. The staff is attentive and polite. The menu is vast. All the food is good. I had the smash burger, and it was fantastic. Even the French fries were excellent! They have an amazing bakery section with a wide range of desserts too. I sincerely don’t know how these great Jersey diners do it. I had the smash burger. Someone else got a steak quesadilla, Someone else got ham, eggs and home fries. Someone else got a skirt steak. It all came out great! Amazing! Good job!

The food was very disappointing. For the Pepperoni Pizza Fries, the marinara sauce buried under the cheese caused the fries to be very soggy and lose most of its flavor. The fries that were not buried tasted very plain (salt is recommended) The Mozzarella sticks had a slightly tough exterior, but the cheese was at least decent. The 8oz Medium Rare Cheese Burger was not too bad, it was just very dry and needed some ketchup. The Lemon Meringue Pie was absolutely disgusting as it tasted like wax with a hint of detergent. It was the only dish I refused to finish. Aside from the food, I liked the environment and the waitress was very sweet. However, this is not enough for me to come back sadly.

Everyone had Santa hats, very festive! I had strawberry chocolate pancakes and it was totally LOADED! I recommend. I do think if more Christmas music was playing I would’ve been in an even jollier mood if that’s even possible! Boulevard diner, ILY!

I ordered chicken finger and I received four of the smallest chicken fingers ever for $14.
Then my sons burger which was not anything great, it was a grilled cheeseburger burger for $24.
My small pasta dish was over $20.
Two soda, $10
Milkshake almost $10 for a small milkshake.
Plus they charged extra for eating at night.
After tip my bill was $98 for two people for average food and small portions. What a mistake going.
