Best food I’ve ever tasted in New Jersey . This is my only time being in New Jersey , but it’s the best food ever.

First time here and first time having real authentic Italian food. I came here with my partner in the evening of July 4th. The restaurant has such a lovely and romantic atmosphere. Every of the employees here and the chef greeted us. Our server Alex was so nice and attentive, and she recommended us great food. We sat toward the back where the hanging flowers were. We ordered their Alfredo pasta and steak. The steak and steak sauce was so good and so was the pasta. I do wish their was AC in the back though since it was pretty hot that day, but I think they wanted to maintain the garden vibe so only the front seating area had AC I believe.

I'm usually not a fan of food other than Asian food, but my partner took me here and I was amazed by how great the food and service was here. They make everything from scratch here so you're not getting frozen food that's heated up. This is a really great fine dining spot for Italian food. It may not look like a lot from the outside but the inside is very wide and spacious. I've never had authentic Italian food so this came as a wonderful surprise to me. Unfortunately, we were in a rush to go see the fireworks so we couldn't order the desserts. For those of you who thinks it's pricey or is it worth it, I'm telling you from my experience because I'm a crazy budget person, but this place is 1000% worth your money for all that you're getting. We usually never tip more than the suggested amount, but it was so good that we wanted to. Ofc, tip accordingly to your experience and taste. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of videos, but the next time I come here I would definitely do. I've been recommending this place to my friends as well, and it's a restaurant I would definitely come back for. 💯🥰

My husband and I craved some Italian food and must say Gallo Nero has been the best we had in our whole 10 day stay in NJ. We had Penne Vodka, if you’re craving a mix of American Italian, it’s a must must tryyy.

Marcello was the one who hosted us and the service was amazing too. We had it once and repeated it thrice for three different days. Do not miss it. Please try their Penne Vodka and the crème rulle!

I had the carbonara for to go, the pasta was overcooked, the sauce was so light it felt like I was dunking pasta into a bucket of water. No sault little pepper. All in all, service was decent, food was below average, not coming here again. Look somewhere else for Italian food, there is a lot. WE ARE IN JERSEY.

Where do I even begin!!!
My family had the pleasure of throwing me my baby shower in such a beautiful space.
I have never seen the place before, so walking in for the first time took my breathe away. It’s a beautifully elegant cozy space. Once I walked into the back room I was brought to tears. The space on its own was beautiful.
Before the party even started the staff made me feel so special. Making sure my husband and I were comfortable and happy. Carlos made sure my husband’s glass of wine was never empty!! Service was beyond 5 star.
The FOOD! INCREDIBLE! Great variety of classic Italian dishes that were delicious. Marcelo and Carlos even came around with more food to make sure everyone’s plates were full.
Marcelo, you have created such a special place in Nortb Bergen. I’m so happy to have celebrated in such an amazing restaurant. Thank you!!!!

I usually don’t give reviews to restaurants, but this one is worth it the effort! The best pasta I have ever had. It is super fresh, homemade style. Everyone is super nice and the restaurant is super pretty inside. I wish I could give 10 stars!
