A new favorite local spot! I actually did a comedy show here last night and my boyfriend, my friends and I are already talking about how it's such a great place for comedy. Drinks are great, burgers really are the best in Hudson county, great onion rings too. And of course the owners / staff are super nice and create a welcoming atmosphere. We will be back!!!

I’ve never written a really really negative review for an eatery but when I saw the relatively high “star rating” for this place I feel compelled to say something for anyone uninitiated. It’s basically a dive bar with tables out front. Both experiences I’ve had were negative. Ordered this during the pandemic- the burgers were very greasy but not the worst- then a year or so later, I tried eating here as it’s one of the few places in the neighborhood with outdoor seating and I was on a walk with my baby daughter sleeping in her carriage. I planned to eat on one of their outdoor picnic tables but had to deal with two of the bar patrons sitting on a bench close by the tables smoking weed and cursing loudly. I decided to take my kid across the street while waiting for the burger which at that point I decided I’d just take to go. When we sat back down there was a local drunk woman who began to harass us at our table who the server was trying unsuccessfully to shoo away. When food was finally ready, got a pretty weak apology; no discount on the food or any gesture that would make me consider giving it another try. I can’t speak for how this place is as a bar, but as a restaurant it’s beyond mediocre and attracts some sketchy people.

Typical bar. But food was very tasty. We had the wings, which were very small and a couple of burgers. Took the burgers to go, very good, but would have enjoy them more if they gave us some condiments (Ketchup).

A must stop! Best burger I've ever had. Their burgers are fresh. Great atmosphere in a small neighborhood bar. All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel like family. If you are in the area, you have to make this place one of your visits!

Had eyes on this spot for a while before finally going this week. At first, it was really chill as my partner and I were the only ones at the bar outside of the bartender/waiter and one other person. So it was quiet enough to have a conversation and enjoy Thursday Night Football. We ordered 2 drinks (their 32oz bucket LITs) and their wings to start. The bartender (who was super nice btw) recommended mixing the buffalo and garlic parmesan sauces for the wings and they did not disappoint. We ordered our burgers, a Cuban Burger for myself and a bacon cheeseburger deluxe for my partner. The food was honestly really good! I expect nothing less when you're serving Pat La Frieda beef. I can't say I've had many burgers with mustard (the Cuban Burger includes elements of a Cuban sandwich -- pulled pork, mustard, pickles and Swiss cheese) but it was such a solid combo on a burger. The fries were seasoned well and not salty.Okay that's the extension of the good stuff...While waiting for our meals, the energy began to go down hill. I'm all for the vibes of a local spot and serving your local community but when someone comes into a a place of business who is clearly intoxicated and begins to act out of line and throw around racial slurs, there's an expectation that management/staff would step in and do something rather than encourage or be complacent with that type of behavior. On top of that, the bartender then hooked up his phone to the speaker and started blasting music?? (Personally, I thought it might have been to tune out the drunken ranting of this one person) Either way it got super weird really quickly. When we asked for the check, instead of getting an itemized bill, the bartender handed us his phone with the Square app to pay. Sketch. My partner had to ask for the breakdown of what we were being charged for. I hope the business changes this process because it's not a best practice. Honestly, for what we ordered with the combination of the awful environment, the cost was super steep and not worth it. Next time, if there is a next time, we're just going to order food to go.
