The music was great, our server Milagro was incredible and the restaurant itself is super cute. It was our first time in and she gave us a great recommendations! The birria menu is incredible and the gyro tacos are very flavorful. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu and outdoor seating next time!

I have always ordered from here for pick up and or dine in, food is great but over priced. I called to place an order for pick up which my partner would be picking up as we have always done and this time around they asked to have card on sight when picking order up, I advised that my partner picking up would not have the card since they were driving from work from another town and it would be out of the way for them to come get the card and asked since they were asking for my phone number to call me for verification instead when my partner got there, the owner made it very complicated and did not accommodate, I found this very unnecessary and inconvenient. Placed an order at La Leona instead and no complications my partner got the food with no issue.

We went for AYCE Taco Tuesday; the rules are 4 tacos with choice of 2 fillings for 1st plate, each plate after that 2 tacos of 1 filling until you say enough or you run out the clock at 45 mins. After 4 plates (10 tacos) and sampling 5 different fillings, my son and I were stuffed with 5 mins to spare.
The tacos were fantastic! They were without question the juiciest I've ever had, each flavor distinct and unique. The carnitas were porky and gelatinous with slow-cooked meat juice while the al pastor were tangy with bright flavors of pineapple and cilantro. The bistecca was intensely beefy and the shredded chicken tinga was like a sponge of chicken soup flavor. After clearing each plate, the waiter wasted no time taking our next order which arrived promptly steaming hot. My son had an horchata, which he described as a rich concentrated flavor like they expected the ice to melt into it - cinnamony in the sweetest way! Even though we are our fill of tacos, I love that the dessert menu includes some small bites priced accordingly if you didn't want a full sweet course - between churro and empanada, I couldn't resist the piping hot guava and cheese empanada.
Best tacos ever (I've been to Mexico City and Puebla), and I'll have to come back for their actual specialty, the birrias!

Restaurantji Recommends
we came to new york for a few days lived opposite, the establishment did not inspire confidence but at some point in the evening we returned late and decided to go in, ordered filet mignon tacos for 22 dollars. 2 portions in the end we got two tiny portions very tasteless, more precisely with a tofu taste, only ketchup saved and for all this we paid 67 dollars I would not give 20, the waitress stood next to us with such a look as if we had been sitting there for an eternity, she was really rushing us although there was still an hour before closing and there were no other guests, in general I do not recommend it, stay away

I’m beyond fed up with Locos Tacos Birria Factory. I used to be a loyal customer, dropping $60–$80 here every single week. But over the past month, the portions have gotten downright insulting — barely any meat in the tacos, sauce cups that keep shrinking — so you’re basically paying premium prices for scraps.
Today sealed it for me. I placed another $80 order to go and asked for a little extra sauce — and the owner himself tells me it’ll be $3 for ONE extra cup. I reminded him I’m there every Sunday spending my money, and he couldn’t have cared less.
It’s honestly pathetic — and pretty sad — when the owner is so cheap and short-sighted he’s willing to lose $80 a week over a few damn sauce cups. Meanwhile, the food you’re getting now doesn’t even match what you’re paying for.
Keep nickel-and-diming your loyal customers and skimping on portions — it’s a surefire way to run your business straight into the ground. Good tacos don’t make up for greed and zero customer respect. There’s plenty of other birria spots out there that actually value the people who keep their lights on. Shame on you.”

Gave $50 on 8 tacos and couldn't even give me a plastic bag when leaving. Below avg food. Bad customer service won't do nothing for you after they get the money. Can't get just 1 taco. Dude up front very lost and confused. Never going back.
Edit review. So had I said PAPER BAG would I have gotten one? Paper plastic whatever. I just asked for a bag and was told no. Simple question. Great tip next time I'll read the price.
