Overall super clean and pretty hotel but night clerk for our check in could use a little help in his customer service attitude. Room also only had a thin white shade that blocks out absolutely no sun so thats a bit aggressive in the morning. Lots of kids coming from a party within the hotel being loud and not wearing masks. Not the worst, not the best.

I was not able to relax and sleep like I had planned. Next door was playing loud music from 12am-4am. I will not go to this hotel again. Also no place to eat within like the ad suggested. Restaurant was closed. But if you go online it stated it was open

The layout of the room is ridiculous, the bathroom is the first thing you enter to as soon as you open the door.every time someone had to use the bathroom for that person to have some privacy the rest of us had to stay in the bedroom.

Spent a night here Mar 18th, checked out early with no issues. The front desk staff assured me I would receive my deposit returned to my account within 2-3 business days. It is now 9 business days later and I still have no received my deposit. The corporate office says it has no power to help and the hotel must issue me the refund. I managed to get a general manager on the phone however he seems to be in on it as well. I wouldn't trust my money here.

She is absolutely amazing and makes sure your stay is safe with all the new guidelines and also makes you feel at home as well. Michelle will try her best to accommodate your needs if it’s possible. I highly recommend this place. I have been staying there for even an entire week when ever I’m in Jersey.

For a newer hotel it was quite disappointing. Beds and pillows are terrible. Most of staff don’t speak English. Bathrooms are idiotic. I mean, basically this is a step above a Motel 6. I didn’t look around for crackheads but they’re there I’m sure.

Of all my travels and hotel check-ins, I have never encountered a hotel receptionist telling me “not to stain the sheets.” I was confused as to why he would use that verbiage but I felt insulted. The next day, I wanted to speak with the manager to let them know that they CANNOT use that kind of verbiage no matter what to anyone. The manager didn’t want to speak to me because he was on a call, and promised he would call me. They tried to give me a bottle of wine as peace offering, but that doesn’t justify that kind of vulgar and crass behavior. I waited ALL DAY for the manager to call back, but he never did. So now I’m forced to voice out my concerns in public since they didn’t take me seriously.

1. Paid for Deluxe Room with king bed balcony and terrace, was given a handicap room with double beds, no balcony and no terrace. 2. Was subjected to 2nd hand marijuana smoke from others in the Hotel elevator, and inside hotel parking lot. 3. Dog hair was found in the bathroom of room. 4. Loud alarm going off at 6:00am, called front desk and was told not to worry the alarm would stop in a few minutes, Alarm continued to ring loudly for 10 minutes before stopping. 5. Never received a room cleaning during entire stay at hotel. 6. On Tuesday 11/24, went downstairs for breakfast around 10:00am and was told by front desk breakfast ended. However I was told upon check-in by front desk breakfast is until 11:00am. 7. On Wednesday 11/25 went downstairs for breakfast around 930am and was told front desk breakfast ended at 9:00am. Front desk suggested that if i wanted to eat breakfast there is a diner down the street i could go to. And by the way don't be fooled by the ole "breakfast included" trick, "Breakfast Included" does not mean a sit down breakfast, with eggs, pancakes, orange juice, etc. What "breakfast included" really means is the front desk will hand you a grab and go breakfast in a brown paper bag that consists of a stale bagel, one tiny tub of cream cheese, muffin, and a tiny bottle of water. 8. Internet service not working well, on 4th floor. Internet constantly connecting and disconnecting. Called front desk, they said they would look into it, but there was no change that occurred. In my opinion hotel needs to install an access point to widen the range of the wifi so the upper floors can receive a steady stream of wifi service without disconnecting. 9. Called front desk from room numerous times, and phone just kept ringing and ringing and ringing with no one picking up the phone, This hotel is not being managed properly, they are extremely unorganized. Do not waste your time, save yourself the frustration, find somewhere else to go.

From start to finish our stay at this Wydham Garden was amazing! Check in was easy and quick. The room was stylish, modern and (most importantly) clean. The bed was comfortable. We had stay at a Wydham hotel outside of Newport, RI in November 2019. I mentioned this because the room at Wyndham Garden was comparable to the one we had stayed in November 2019 - minus a few amenities and design features. We were impressed by this fact since the Wydham Garden is their more budget friendly/midrange property. Actually, the Wydham Garden didn't charge us a "property use" fee like the one outside of Newport did. The front desk was good about getting us extra toiletries when we needed them. Overall, a very positive experience and we'd definitely stay at this property again. A great bargin!
