As I typically do...when I'm hungry and in the mood to have something out of the ordinary I go online and search for unique, independent eateries in the area. On Sunday I was in the mood for a really good Cuban sandwich...and my wife said..."YES...ME TOO!" So on the very first page of Google it recommended "Sandwichitos"....and we both loved the name. I read both Google's as well as Yelp's reviews and they were all almost universally 4 and 5 Stars...but mostly 5. So we jumped in the car and took the 20 minute drive. It's a small place with limited parking...but we managed to find a spot. Upon entering Sandwichitos we found it to be immaculately clean with white tile walls and seating for, perhaps, 12-15 inside with a couple of outdoor tables. It's, apparently, intended to accommodate mostly take-out and delivery which is fine.
I read online that many of the sandwiches were large enough for 2...so we opted to share the French Cuban. My wife is very picky when it comes to the bread on a Cuban sandwich....and their French Baguette absolutely delish! Hot, toasty and pressed to perfection. Their was also plenty of pulled pork and ham...so we didn't walk away hungry as we both shared just one sandwich. As a side I chose the sweet potato tots with both their cheese dipping sauce along with a side of their chipotle sauce that had a nice little kick to it. The only suggestion my wife would add is that a Cuban Sandwich should automatically come with a side of garlic sauce.
All in all it was a wonderful experience. Great food and a great welcoming staff as well. We will certainly come back and I've already suggested it to several friends. A+++!

This place is very clean, and is decorated nicely. Definitely helps draw people in. The service was great idk why everyone's blaming them for the fact that they can't read. Don't ignore the clearly stated break times and you won't have an issue ordering. The food also doesn't take 45 minutes to get to you like some reviews stated. Now here's where the bad starts for me, my sandwich. I ordered a shake, tots, and jiu jitsu steak. The tots were good, both regular and sweet, as was the shake. The main attraction, however, left much to be desired. My sandwich did have a good flavor don't get me wrong, they certainly know how to season a steak in that kitchen, but the steak itself had a horrible texture. It was one of the toughest steaks I've eaten. The bread initially tasted fine. It was a little hard to bite, but the grease from the sandwich balanced everything out. However upon reheating the other half of my sister's sandwich tbat she didn't want, the bread didnt hold up well. It was hard, and didn't taste as good as it did previously, as it now felt like I was consuming cardboard smothered in garlic. Now the menu states that this sandwich will require napkins yes, but I still was not expecting to encounter the amount of grease that I did. I loved the sauce, and I loved the flavor of the steak, but the steak itself certainly did not demand 18.50, and after consuming the sandwich, I was left with an unpleasant greasy aftertaste, and a bit of hunger, as the sandwich was not exactly filling, even with the grease. I think all the sandwiches could benefit from something to fluff it up, like maybe lettuce and tomato where possible so they have more substance. My meal came out to $35, and for that amount, I was hoping to leave a bit more satisfied, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me, not for what it demands. Would I come back to this place? Maybe. I understand that this is a small business, and that there are some kinks to iron out, but I'm gonna need a higher quality steak the next time I go, or at least some more substance in the sandwich so it's harder for me to notice.

Love a great toasted sandwich. It's perfect ? BUT it doesn't justify like any other sandwich place to pay almost $20 for it. Common...

There isn't a single decent cheesesteak in north jersey so need to stop searching. It's becoming a waste of money and time.

It was overpriced for what I received. I did not like anything I ate. However, the service was amazing and the workers made sure I enjoyed my experience.

Too expensive. Tik Tok video hype. I wouldn’t return. The Philly Sandwich was good. I also tried the Jitsu sandwich I didn’t like the Chimi sauce. The potatoes tots weren’t good I
Threw most of them out. They should have regular fries.
