Halal guys have been my favorite places to eat since a decade now. This particular store is the most useless store and their employees confirmed they’re not like NYC ones.I requested to have my chicken in platter shredded more to which their response was “we cannot do that”, “we are not like the new york stores”.Its just a franchise badly operating under “the halal guys” brand but do not reflect it.Why cannot it be shredded more is my question, especially when the customer is asking for it? Why so lazy?They’ll send GIGANTIC chunks of chicken which is terrible to eat.Also the baklava are not fresh.If you order a coke with the order, they’ll put the cold coke on top of hot platter. Food and drink temperature gets totally messed up.Will never order from this place ever again.

The food is yesterday's. Or maybe sat around since it opened. I need to stop eating at halal guys. Overpriced, small portion, and quality has gone downhill.No matter how hard your workers work, or how nice the interior is, if the policy is to reheat yesterday's food or let the food dry out, there's simply no way customers will be happy.

It pains me to leave a bad review for a halal guys location.. however I'm massively disappointed with the north Bergen location.. 2x in a row I ordered the new sizzling chicken (zaatar chicken it is amazing).. 2x in a row I was given the plain chicken.. which tastes great but it's not what I wanted. Today the platter not only had the wrong chicken but was lacking.. it just hasn't been it. Will be ordering from the fort Lee location from now on.

i’ve been eating at halal guys since the only location was the cart near the hilton in midtown and this is by far the best location & experiece i’ve ever had.the person who greeted & helped us, hazem, is an absolute delight! he is extremely courteous with such warm and welcoming energy. 10/10 stars, incredible, truly incredible ✨
