Visited the restaurant for lunch. It’s self service due to pandemic. Fish curry was awesome and white pomphret was so fresh, not sure how we can get that softness and taste from frozen fish. Ordered beef fry as well, Quantity is high, at least 3 people can share one fry. So overall they are good in quality, quantity and taste.

Excellent food service! Authentic Kerala cuisine at a very reasonable price. Don't miss the beef roast, one of their best dishes. I'm going back again and again and again.

Authentic Kerala cuisine. Excellent quality and more than enough quantity @ reasonable price. Have referred to most of my Indian friends here. Great customer service.

Exactly homestyle. Awesome fish fry and taste that you can never forget. Nethily fry, Pomfret fry and fish curry is a must try for fish lovers

Some of the best Kerala food I've had other than family's cooking. The paratha/porotta is delicious and flaky. The appam is a bit overpriced but delicious as well. Some of our favorites are the kappa biriyani, pazham pori and mutton fry. This is a must try!

The most authentic Kerala food I've ever had after coming to the US. The meat was cooked to perfection and tasted incredibly good.

WOW is an understatement! We were craving some authentic home made Kerala food and ordered for the first time from Kera Garden today! How did we not know about this place earlier??? This is hands down a secret gem in the area. We got Malabar porotta, beef ularthiyathu/fry and kothu porotta with mutton. Everything was absolutely delicious!! We could not stop eating it. Kudos to the chefs for cooking such flavorful food. The beef ularthiyathu had the exactly the level of spice we liked, and came with white morru curry. The amazing spice masala flavors had soaked deep into the tender pieces of meat to make it extra flavorful, plus the sweet crunch of cooked red onions was a perfect combination with the hot, soft layered porotta. I have been looking everywhere for a good kothu porotta and finally found it after years! It was a flavor explosion in our mouths with the diced mutton cooked in various spices, mixed with scrambled eggs, diced red onions, curry leaves and chopped up porotta. The portions are a good size, family style and good enough to share, although there may not be much leftover! We will be talking about this meal for days. And the prices are good for the quality and quantity of food we received, which is always a plus. The online ordering was extremely easy, and the food was ready to pick up in less than 1 hour. Honestly, any wait for food that is this fresh and delicious is 100% worth it. There are specific hours of operation listed on the website so it’s important to take a look at the hours before you put the order in. The menu has so many options, we were at a loss for what to pick. We will be back for sure and can’t wait to try out the rest of the menu!

One of the best kerala restaurant which serves authentic kerala food is KeraGarden from my experience. Their food tastes like homely, quantity also pretty decent with reasonably priced. Customer service is also very good, during weekdays we need to wait for minimum 40 minutes to get . Some time 5 or 10 minutes extra waiting. But it is ok if we get good quality food. I tried their vishu Sadya from one of friend’s house and that time only I came to know about this restaurant and now I am a regular customer.here .good luck KeraGarden

Honestly the food is great. But the customer service is pretty bad and almost non existent.Response:Let me clarify what I mean by bad customer service here for credibility of the review. I’ve bought multiple times from this place (twice a week for two people for close to a month). I followed instructions for ordering from the owner exactly as he said (because I wanted to make catering orders too). I used to order catering in advance (I also had to remind and follow up on this so that it will be ready when I go for pick up). I was told that the menu items can be ordered over the phone on the day of order half an hour in advance, which is exactly what I did. Apparently the menu changes everyday and they don’t bother to update it anywhere. Also there is no complimentary rice despite making catering orders for over 50$ and sometimes more. I can understand if that’s the way they work. But I’ve also had rice forgotten multiple times for menu items for which rice is supposed to be included. If I remind them while in the shop I get it. If I realize only after I get home I don’t get it. Overall I found the place inconsistent. And it was clear that they don't care much about the customer's convenience or experience. The issue wasn't about unavailability but rather the way and timing in which it was communicated.

I just recently moved to NJ and Kera Garden was recommended by a total stranger who worked in another Indian restaurant ?. We had a gathering this weekend. My family and friends went home with a full stomach of Indu’s delicious food. I received so many compliments on the food. Also, surprisingly the Malayalee kids actually took extra plates of their favorites. Usually we have to keep American food handy just in case for those picky eaters. We also had American folks who loved it as well. We had a large order and everything from the dum chicken biryani to the texture and flavor of the shrimp was on point. I would highly recommend Kera Garden to anyone.
