“This is one of my favorite places for pizza in my new neighborhood! The vibe truly is chill! Where menu items are prepared with fresh ingredients and a smile! The flavor is so amazing! The pizza dough is soft and foldable. Truly yummy! The owner and her people are very pleasant as we always chat when I come in! They are in the right business and i shows! The Garlic Knots are super fresh and oh my goodness...DELICIOUS! Grateful they are here and so glad I walked into their place that first time! They care about the community! What a blessing!! Keep doing what you do!!!“

“I’ve lived in the area for quite some time and I’m disappointed I haven’t tried this place sooner!

For starters, I really liked the chill, laidback vibe. I tried the Vietnamese coffee and the brown sugar banana espresso - both were perfect. Not overly sweet and balanced well with the coffee. The banana espresso is one of the best I’ve had - highly recommend it, especially if you’re a banana fiend like me.

I came for the coffee, but also ended up getting some sandwiches, which were very good. The sandwiches come on a soft English muffin. The BEC sandwich was eggcelent, with a big fluffy egg paired with thick cut bacon, melted in cheese.

Great local spot, will be coming back soon!

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“I recently visited Rush Bowl, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a very long time. As someone who frequents different restaurants, this visit went far beyond my expectations.

For starters, the customer service was superb. MaryAnne and Reginald were extremely welcoming, warm, and attentive from the moment I walked in. The great service didn’t stop there. I had the chance to try their fresh smoothies, bowls, and Rush Bites, and everything was truly exceptional. Each item was full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and you could tell they take pride in what they serve.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers both amazing service and delicious, wholesome food, Rush Bowl is definitely worth the visit.“

Joe, the owner, is there every day and somehow knows everyone by name—it really feels like a community staple. When we first moved to the area, I made it a point to try every bagel shop nearby, and these are hands down the best. The bagels are consistently excellent, the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, and there are plenty of solid lunch options too. My personal favorite is the Nova cream cheese sandwich. It’s become a family tradition for us to come every Saturday morning for fresh bagels, and they even freeze well for weekday breakfasts (which is surprisingly hard to find). Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. “The two people I was with were really happy with their menu choices and said the food was really good, and everything was nicely presented, but my House Waffles were dry and tasteless; they looked really nice though, and the scrambled egg I ordered on the side was perfect. Excellent service and really nice atmosphere. We'll certainly go back, but I'll make a different menu selection. In short, I really recommend The Bridgewater Cafe, I just can't give as enthusiastic a recommendation for the waffles.“
