“We've enjoyed their lunches and their dinners. We love their salad- fresh tasty cucumbers, tomatoes and ? that makes it great. We like their lentil soup. We adore the special Noni Afghan (or Nan, a staple, long, oval flatbread with a chewy interior and crusty exterior). We like the choice of rice (my favorite is weird brown long rice with carrots and raisins) We have tried most of the meat choice- all are delicious. 3 very different sauces are fun - the white yogurt sauce makes everything tastes great. The service is always friendly, never rushed. We enjoy coming to Silk Road often.“

We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. “Taco Empreso is number one in all NJ & NY my absolute favorite spot. Not only is the food top tier but the drinks are amazing too. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful. She always makes sure my family and I feel satisfied every time we go. Taco Empreso, truly the best.“

“We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

“Went to Flounder Brewing Co. on April 17 for a live show and was genuinely blown away. The venue strikes a perfect balance between intimate and energetic. You are close enough to really feel the music, but there’s still plenty of room to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a welcoming, unpretentious vibe that made it easy to settle in. Of course, the beer lineup didn’t disappoint either, solid variety and quality across the board.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines great live music with excellent craft beer, this is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year. “Kyma is the reason we drive 30 minutes for amazing authentic Greek cuisine. Our appetizer/small plate of smoked eggplant dip & lamb empanada with herb mint sauce was a wonderful start. Sea bass in tomato broth with potatoes & Aegean shrimp dish were perfectly prepared. We had to have the baklava with vanilla ice cream (no pic as we attacked it!). The ambience, service and food made for a beautiful meal!“
