“This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the area! The food is always so fresh - I love the egg sandwich, smashed chickpea and avocado toast although you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Underrated, but their chocolate chip cookie is also the best I’ve ever had. In terms of drinks, I’m very picky with matcha (I don’t drink coffee) and you can tell they use quality matcha. My husband/friends order the coffee and love that as well! They always have great drink specials which keep us coming back.“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

“Just tried this place and WOW ! The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken had the perfect amount of kick and flavor, and the pork was seasoned to perfection. And let me tell you… the Curried Beef Lumpia and the fresh fruit juices was to die for.

On top of that, the service was amazing. The owner is so warm and kind, which really made the whole experience even better.

The only downside is that it was pretty cold inside there’s a noticeable draft. If they can fix that and make it warmer, it would be the perfect place to sit and really enjoy your meal comfortably.

“We always have the BEST experience at Fresh Tiki Bar! Every time we go, the place feels bright, cheerful, and so welcoming. It’s the kind of spot that instantly puts you in a good mood.

Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. “Taco Empreso is number one in all NJ & NY my absolute favorite spot. Not only is the food top tier but the drinks are amazing too. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful.
