We are regulars at LaCucina and enjoy everything about this restaurant which is a BYOB. At our most recent visit, we dined outdoors—it was a beautiful evening. The service was excellent, and the meal was delicious. I had a special—homemade cavatelli with shrimp and scallops in blush sauce, and my husband had veal pizzaiola from the regular menu.
Ester was, once again, the best at taking care of us! Started with meatballs as an appetizer, along with an order of muscles and clams. Both were perfect. Followed up with flounder franchise ,one of the night specials, and stuffed veal chop another special the evening. Both very good. We've dined at this restaurant several times before but last night was absolutely exceptional!! Everything tasted so fresh. The clams & mussels' with lemon sauce was the best I've ever eaten! I asked to add some hot pepper to the dish and that really took it up a notch. The beet salad and rigatoni and gnocchi pasta dishes were exceptionally good. Our server was a delight and the other servers who assisted equally great. Highly recommend this local restaurant....
