Verana is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Bergen County. The food is consistently incredible, from the homemade pastas to the perfectly cooked seafood and steaks. You can really tell there’s attention to detail in every dish. The atmosphere feels upscale but still warm and comfortable, and the service was professional without being pretentious. Easily a restaurant you can go to for a special occasion or just a great night out. Can’t wait to come back.
My experience at Verana was nothing short of exceptional. The award-winning Chicken Parmesan absolutely lived up to its reputation—perfectly prepared and incredibly satisfying. The oysters were impeccably fresh, offering a clean, briny flavor that set the tone for the meal. I thought I was getting 5 stars but not. The chicken parm was okay nothing special. The spaghetti with marinara was too tomato tasting no flavor bland. The food was not hot I temperature barely like warm. The drink was okay but everything overpriced. I live BarMutz because all the food is hot and has flavor. My daughter had Branzino and no flavor. I am very disappointed. I came because it won #1 but not in my book. Go to Bar Mutz way better.
