Drippy warm ice cream
Really don’t like to rate low but here’s why: We went with children who ordered soft ice cream cups. Soon as we were handed the cups they looked warm and soupy. Let the kids give it a shot but was dripping everywhere on their clothes, on the table and even on their shoes (eating indoor) and they may as well just drank milk. Gummy’s were also hard and stale. Asked the staff to please trade them in for a cookie sandwich or something for the kids. At first they said yes, so i would have shared that here with a higher rating but after a minute or two they came back and said “we can make you a new one of what you had but can’t change for something else”. No thank you, so we just left. Could have been an easy problem to solve we know their service is hard in the summer but it was really not acceptable.

Took our Grandkids for ice cream. You can always rely on Carvel alway quality and great tasting. Also Wednesday was 2 Sindaes for price of one.

The 3 girls there aren’t patient at all. In a rush when there were only 2 customers. I’ve been there before and we had the same experience. We thought to give a 2nd chance. But same result. They don’t please the customer with how you want your order. They say no it doesn’t come that way. And give you a tiny serving as if they were paying for the ice cream. We went on a Thursday we usually go to Clifton every week but they were having a fundraiser so we went to nutley. Never again. Ice cream is supposed to be a happy experience. We did walk out after my husbands ice cream. I didn’t care for any after that

I came to the store on 03/10 BEFORE 9:56pm (10pm.) The workers had already lock the doors before time. I beckoned to let them know that it wasn’t 10pm. They both said no and wouldn’t let me in. Sad that this would have been my first time trying the spot and this was my experience. If the hours say 10p the store shouldn’t be closing the doors before then.
I visited the Carvel today , and I was extremely disappointed. The store was supposed to close at 10 PM, but when I arrived at 9:40 PM, the attendant refused to make a milkshake for me. Not only that, but the attendant's attitude was dismissive and rude. If the store is open, all services should be available until the closing time. Very poor customer service and a bad experience overall. I would suggest the Rita’s Italian down street .

Girl was having problems getting orders right
Ordered a med and large cone got cups .she had redo and med and large cone was same size ????. She also had an attitude. You could tell she hates her job. The ice cream was not good the sprinkles were old. We won't be going back. So sad.
