I came to the store on 03/10 BEFORE 9:56pm (10pm.) The workers had already lock the doors before time. I beckoned to let them know that it wasn’t 10pm. They both said no and wouldn’t let me in. Sad that this would have been my first time trying the spot and this was my experience. If the hours say 10p the store shouldn’t be closing the doors before then.

I visited the Carvel today , and I was extremely disappointed. The store was supposed to close at 10 PM, but when I arrived at 9:40 PM, the attendant refused to make a milkshake for me. Not only that, but the attendant's attitude was dismissive and rude. If the store is open, all services should be available until the closing time. Very poor customer service and a bad experience overall. I would suggest the Rita’s Italian down street .

Ordered a med and large cone got cups .she had redo and med and large cone was same size ????. She also had an attitude. You could tell she hates her job. The ice cream was not good the sprinkles were old. We won't be going back. So sad.

Owner didn't know what chocolate sprinkles were, gave me a kid size and charged me for a bigger one.Ice cream is delicious though if I go back I will have to make sure they understand me and not assume they charged me correctly.

Decent ice cream joint. Nothing really special tho. Special flavors typically lack just that - flavor - like they go a bit light on it. The general feel inside and outside is a bit depressing. Definitely could use a cheerier feel. What saves it in a big way are their ice cream cakes, two-for-one Wednesdays, and general quality of ice cream and toppings. Aside from special flavors, we've never been disappointed with anything else and generally enjoy what we order. Good to see them trying to modernize with non-dairy options. Looking forward to trying!

Can't beat BOGO Sundae on Wednesday.
Parking: Right on Franklin ave so there's 'some' street parking. They have a small 4-6 car parking lot on site too but, since it's right next to the high school, the place is bumpin - at least on BOGO Wed anyway. Not really that big of a deal though.
Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like ice cream? They have sugar-free and sorbet too, so there no issues for the lactose-intolerant, diabeetus didgeridoo gang either.
Wheelchair accessibility: Got it.

I haven't been to a Carvel in ages. Enjoyed this location. Loved looking at the large selection of frozen cakes and treats. There were several large freezer cases filled with a variety of shapes and sizes of cakes. I opted to make my own small icecream creation with cookiedough icecream with chocolate crunchies and sprinkles. The icecream was super creamy and the crunchies were just as I remembered! Seating areas inside are limited so it's best for takeout if with a group.

So I ordered a birthday cake and had requested they change up the look of the cake and when obtaining the cake they did not fulfill my request and yet still charged me. Please be aware of any custom orders as they do not do as requested.

The woman in front, who was elderly, refused to accept a coupon that had been issued to me by Carvel themselves!
I showed her an online coupon (sent via email) and she said she would not accept it because it was not printed out. She claimed that I would reuse the coupon because she could not see the expiration date. The expiration date, however, said in large font : EXP 06/29/2023.
On top of that, she was rude and rushed me—she constantly repeated "what do you want?!" in reference to the toppings for the buy one get one free sundaes.
The ice cream is good and fresh but the rude service and desire to overcharge you ruins any good qualities of this Carvel location.
