Bought a cake yesterday......had to be over a week old. Hard and stale.

Today was my second time stopping here for pastries and bread. The first time was pretty lackluster with stale pastries and an "off" taste to the pastries that had a cream filling. The filling had a strong citrus taste and a sour aftertaste. I thought maybe they were having an off day and decided to try again today. I got the apple crumb cake which was thrown into a paper bag to start. When I got home it completely fell apart into a pile of mush when I took it out. I decided to taste it anyway and wish I hadn't. The dough was completely raw which was probably why it fell apart. My fiance got his favorite treat: tarallis. They were rock hard and tasted like the plastic container they were kept in. When I say rock hard, I'm talking being surprised he didn't chip a tooth. The Italian bread is decent, but very salty. I like saltiness, so it didn't bother me too much, but when I know bread shouldn't have a strong taste of salt. Lesson learned. We will not be returning again.

I don't normally write reviews, but between the lack of customer service, and the awful quality of the pastries we bought, I had to. The woman that took our order was unfriendly at best, threw all of our pastries on top of each other in a paper bag, and couldn't wait for us to leave. The crumb cake was doughy and tasted like chemicals. I hate to sound like a Karen, but my recommendation is to steer clear of this establishment unless you're looking to waste your money and be disappointed by the first bite.

First time here , we ordered peanut butter cup it was so delicious !!! We had Portuguese custard my bf approved and he’s half Portuguese . A big chocolate chip cookie I enjoyed it , my boyfriend said it was too hard. everything was delicious , def would come back

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because the sales girl was nice and the bread there is always good. I purchased a cake and cheese danish ring yesterday. The cake was stale, good thing the icing was ok because that’s all my company got to eat. The cheese ring was sour. When I went in this morning to bring it back and ask for a refund for the cheese ring, the counter person was very nice but when the owner came out, he was dismissive and told me cheese doesn’t get sour! After he allowed her to refund me, he walked away and laughed and said to another customer, first time in 35 years that’s happened. I know for a fact a lot of people have brought things back there so there was no reason for that rude and inaccurate statement. I have been going to this bakery since they opened, but will never step foot in there again.

Great place! Employees are incredibly nice, and the place is very clean which is good. Food is amazing, and it has some of the best pastries and bread in the area. Would recommend!

Wonderful bakery. Everything I've had has tasted great, but the bread is definitely the best I've had anywhere. The staff is friendly, and the prices are comparable to all the other bakeries in the area.

EXTREMELY discriminatory. employees were rude and nasty. i also saw a roach which was disgusting. matched the attitude of the lady behind the counter. also flies in the pastry case. should be shut down. wouldn’t be surprised if they had rats.
