Food is dynamite! Definitely an affordable meal. Family friendly. Sometimes when we go, my husband, my son and I share the full sirloin steak with rice and beans. Then we also order fries for my son and we still have food leftover! I definitely highly recommend this restaurant!

Messed up my order With ribs. It's my fault for not ripping open the stapled bag before I got home. I'm stuck at home with kids now and have no way to drive back with the current situation. I called. They decided to argue with me instead of just giving me a refund . I even offered for them to drive here and see for themselves that I haven't eaten anything.
Just give me the refund and call it a day. Don't argue over a simple order. I've come to the place dozens of times.
Don't come to this place. These people are petty over this.

It was 28 dollars, the rice was watery and had little to no seasoning. The flavor in the ribs is like they are stale and it tasted like all they did was reheat it up. The fries were cold

My experience with Stephanie’s is great. I get the bbq chicken with yellow and black beans which taste delicious. The price is very reasonable. If you’re in the Nutley area check them out.

Today I visited Stephanie bbq in Nutley. Let's start with the pros The smell is what made me make a u turn to try them The young lady greeted me as soon as I walked in 🙂 They were busy but I didn't wait too long They offer telephone and online orders Restaurant appeared clean Cons I order half chicken rice and fries and did not receive half a chicken Stingy with the food Guy taking phone orders did not wash his hands before preparing the rolls for the family dining in. Overall the taste of the food was ok, nothing a little adobo couldn't fix, but for the amount of food you receive you're better off going to a BBQ spot downtown Newark.
Ordered from here for the first time. It was so painfully unseasoned, the steak and ribs were oddly chewy. Rice same bland.

Very disappointed, the yellow rice was Hard and Dry , I ordered BBQ ribs. Received 4 little tiny ribs with NO BBQ sauce. Could not eat the food.
