One of the best Thai restaurants!!
We went on a Friday night and were lucky to get a table as they were packed. We tried a variety of dishes: chicken curry puffs, Penang chicken, Pad Thai, chicken satay, tom yup soup, gra pao, and fried calamari. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. And there was plenty for us to take home.
The staff were extremely friendly, service was quick and despite them being completely packed, we did not feel rushed at all.

I haven’t had Thai food in quite a while so I thought I’d try Nimman Thai Palace. Considering I’m not an expert on Thai food I asked for recommendations. My daughter ordered the Beef noodle soup which was delicious. I ordered the duck love rice (yes that’s what it was called) it was fantastic. The duck was tender, flavorful and moist. Overall I really enjoyed it immensely. The ambiance is very nice and cozy. Will definitely return!!

Ordered online via UberEats (they also do DoorDash) and someone had a brilliant plan to put Vietnamese coffee in a paper sack and loose in the main bag with $50 of food that I ordered.
WELL … AS YOU CAN IMAGINE… it did not work well. The coffee not only put a sticky coating all inside the food bag but also in my apartment lobby, the elevator and all over my apartment. Half of the coffee spilled all over the bag. I can’t believe the driver still delivered it and it must have been all over their car.
Thanks for the sticky mess and stains my landlord is going to kill me over.
First and only time I order from these guys 😵💫🤢😡😫😖😔😭
UPDATE: I would suggest NOT blaming the delivery driver since a cold drink should never be placed loose inside a hot food bag. Not only is this risky, but the cold drink loses quality being with hot food. Thank you

Update Takeout: The portion sizes are incredibly small and you dont get what you pay for.
The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, curry puff, shrimp pad thai and essence fried rice. Our waiter seemed like she was upset and didn't want to be at work. Customer service could use a class on proper greeting and making the dining experience exceptional.
To have a waiter who has bad energy can really ruin the dine in experience.

My wife and I visited family from MD and tried Thai Essence and absolutely positively loved it! The Green Curry & Drunken Noodles was sooo delicious! Appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendly attentive waiter!

Good luck ordering on DoorDash. If you want to make your food spicy good luck, because they don’t give you the option and don’t allow you to add notes to the order. Very weird business practice!
