My wife and my three-year-old daughter visited this restaurant seven years ago. My daughter is now ten years old. I vividly recall the owner, a Turkish-Bulgarian woman, greeting us at the door. She knew us well and had been to this restaurant before. She asked if our daughter cried inside, as her American customers might be uncomfortable with a crying child. We walked back and never went back to that restaurant. I’ve been telling everyone about this experience . If she’s still the owner, I just realized I’ve never posted a review on their website. This was a very true experience. I wish them all the best and hope they have a successful business and stay healthy.

We’ve always been happy with the Turkish food in this friendly place, but this Thanksgiving discovered that they also offer a turkey dinner on this day. $50 per person for tasty turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, special rice, plus pumpkin pie and coffee. Since we no longer want to be bothered at Thanksgiving we will probably return here.

I have been to this restaurant a few times last year in October (to honor Turkish Heritage Month) and my last time going to this place so far was on the nineteenth of May to celebrate the day the Turkish War of Independence began. I love this place very much and to my knowledge, I have dined in on five occasions.

It's always a wonderful experience coming to The Bosphorus in Nutley. The environment is warm and the restaurant workers are very kind and friendly. Their grilled octopus and kebab platter are top notch. Very good price for the food you have and service you receive.

Amazing place. I visit them at least twice a year. Food is downright amazing. The kebab chicken is so well done, I actually tip $10 to the chef myself. Another $10 to the waitress for always being nice and courteous to us. I do this. Every Time.

I had such a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant today. From the moment we sat down, we were warmly welcomed. The service was incredibly fast, and everything was prepared with great care. The food was absolutely delicious – both the appetizers and the main dishes were fresh and beautifully presented. The dessert was simply amazing, and serving it with ice cream was such a lovely touch.
The lady who served us was extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. She truly made us feel at home, and that kind of genuine hospitality makes the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere was also very clean, bright, and comfortable.
Overall, I am beyond satisfied with both the food and the service. I highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back soon.

The food arrived very late and was cold when served. The meat was dry, flavorless, and overpriced. Portions were disappointingly tiny for what they charged. On top of that, we were billed full price for ayran, even though it seemed like they were splitting one bottle into two glasses and charging as if each was a full serving. Overall, a very poor experience and not worth the money.

This is definitely a go-to spot for authentic Turkish food. The hospitality was incredible! The staff here is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel as if you are home.
