We are at the bar . Had a great bar tender server . I had whole Bronzino broiled Mediterranean style . My wife had veal parm which was very good . She loved the baked clams . Value was very good based on northern NJ a restaurant prices

We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating my husband's birthday! The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everything was just perfect.

Glad to be able to experience a new Steakhouse in Nutley. The menu was varied, the courses were nicely timed with attentive, accommodating service. The meat as well as fish dishes were all tasty. We liked that the dishes came with plenty of different vegetables & potatoes. Desserts delish. Will gladly return!

From the moment we walked in, Woodcroft Steakhouse gave off that classic, elegant vibe — white tablecloths, dim lighting, and friendly staff who make you feel at home right away. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and tender — one of the best I've had in New Jersey. The sides were just as impressive: creamy mashed potatoes, rich mac & cheese, and even the little touches like the pickles and bread stood out. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail. Service was attentive without ever being rushed, and the whole dining experience felt special. This is definitely the kind of place you go for a nice dinner date or to celebrate something meaningful. Highly recommend Woodcroft to anyone looking for top-tier food, a beautiful setting, and warm service. Worth every penny.

Our birthday celebration was perfect. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and the overall experience enjoyed by everyone. We look forward to going here again!

Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was great. Got a complimentary slice of cake for my birthday.

Went for dinner with group and had filet mignon, chicken scarpiello and veal chop. All dishes were prepared as ordered but the filet was fairly bland, the veal chop was missing any sauce (gluten free), and the chicken was moderately spicy. Service was great from the time we came in up until the valet met us with our car as we were walking out the door (EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE). There was a hair in one of our desserts and the kitchen quickly and apologetically replaced it. Overall, the food was good but not exceptional, but the service and prices were OUTSTANDING.

The Woodcroft was a great experience for me and my wife. The all the food was very good. Homemade pasta was excellent and the steak was cooked perfectly. I like a little more bold flavors but very tasty. The service was very good, I do not like a hovering wait staff and they came at the appropriate times to check on us. Dessert was exceptional and the price was excellent. Very reasonable. Overall a definite recommended stop. Will definitely add this place to my favorites.

I had an amazing dining experience. Every dish I had was delicious and prepared how I requested. The service was exceptional and the staff was beyond accommodating. I will be coming back to dine again.

Needs improvement. Porterhouse steak was basically flavorless lol idk how that happens. Restaurant was uncomfortable AC was not working well. Everything else was good.

I took my girlfriend on a dinner date to this restaurant and it was the best restaurant i’ve been to, the waiters were all so kind and helpful and the manager was also very friendly and welcoming and made sure not just us but everybody was 100% okay with everything. Props to the chef for making some of the best food and steak i’ve ever had. 100% recommend for everyone.

Very satisfied. My family always loved to have steak at steven's sizzling because of quality and the taste. However, that was more family style casual good place go. This place had good formal/semi-casual vibe, high quality food and service. I loved homemade pickle abd Homemade tiramisu as well.
Steak quality was great and I liked the fact that seasoning wasn't too strong, so you can taste true quality of the meat.

Shame I could not give the service 10 stars. They accommodated a large party as well as some odd circumstances / demands that we had. They worked with us to find options for my autistic nephew by allowing us to go off menu as well. A few of us had ribs eye steaks which were average/above average. Everyone else went with seafood specials and they all raved about it. Will definitely look to return in the future.

The food and service were excellent, and I highly recommend this location.
