This place use to have great food. Over the past year the quality of the food has declined drastically, while the prices have soared way higher than other similar places in the area. Why are we paying more for less?!
Despite our last few unpleasant visits, we decided to give this place one more shot since it’s closest to us (within walking distance) We immediately regretted it and will not return.
The other day we ordered food for pick up, it was coming out of the kitchen when we arrived and we are right around the corner so I expected a delicious, hot meal when I got home.
I had ordered a gyro with fries. It was beyond embarrassing for a Greek diner. Meat was cold, iceberg lettuce was all the yellow core of the head and inedible, the tomato was cut in huge chunks and barely any tzatziki sauce served with it. Fries served with both meals were cold and dried out. It looked like they were reheated several times and dark brown. The gyro was almost $19!! My friends meal was also inedible. We do not like to send food back or complain, but will not be wasting our hard earned money here anymore.

I haven't to this place in YEARS!! If not mistaken, I believe they had more of a Greek inspired menu back. This is why I was excited to come back a few days ago. I was looking forward to an authentic Greek gyro. I didn't see anything on the menu at 1st but finally found it. I know it said, "grilled chicken". I guess I should have asked how it was prepared. They should NOT call it a gyro! It was basically a wrap cut up grilled chicken in pita with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The tzatziki sauce was HORRIBLE! It was so thick like hummus with dill with a sour taste. Everywhere that I've a gyro it was ALWAYS like a liquid consistency. Whatever that was, it was not an authentic tzatziki sauce. Ladies bathroom needs some serious upgrades. NOT ADA compliant.

I’ve had lunch at this diner frequently on my weekly trips to the office nearby. Normally, it's a solid spot with good food and a decent atmosphere.
However, my last visit left me incredibly disappointed. Despite the diner not being busy, I waited for over five minutes without being acknowledged. Three different employees looked at me and made no effort to assist. Even after trying to get their attention with a polite "good afternoon" or "excuse me," I received no response at all. The indifference and lack of service were baffling and not what I would have expected from this place. I decided to leave after being ignored yet again. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Eggs Benedict were runny and my pastrami/corned beef triple decker sandwich had very little meat. Home fries were cold. Fries were very good and the service was pretty good. Our first time there so will give it another try but definitely better options in the area.
