“On this rainy and wet Wednesday after I was craving a burger so a friend had recommended coming to Grossman's as they had what they called a "really good burger". Upon examination of the photos online I agreed and ordered the cajun burger cooked medium with chips. This burger comes from the specialty menu.Upon arriving at the location I picked up my food and returned home. Upon opening the take out container I was met with a messy pile of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions pushed off to the side and my burger wrapped in foil.I unwrapped my burger expecting a nice sized patty and a burger leaking with juices, and I found a plain burger. The patty looked small. Upon my first bite i was expecting a juicy explosion of flavor, what I got was dry unflavored, unseasoned and overcooked burger.The burger did not have any "cajun" seasoning that i could taste. It was not cooked medium as I had requested. This was unfortunate as I was looking forward to trying this burger after hearing it had received high praise among the locals.The fries that came with this were crinkle cut in nature and were above average. While I am disappointed that this burger did not meet my expectations I will say other food I have had here has been good. Maybe today was a fluke.Unfortunately I do not recommend going here if you plan on taking out your burger. Hopefully they are better when ordered and eaten inside.I will say this is still a favorite for other foods! Such as deli sandwiches4/5 Stars”

“There are few choices on the menu. My husband ordered the Ippin signature ramen and he loved it. I also ordered the seafood ramen and for me it's quite good. Their takoyaki is impressive ? The place is cozy and warm. You should try it too ?”

I grew in oakhurst and have been going there since I was a kid in the 1980s.The owners are 2 brothers from Italyand have owned it since the day it opened it's doors.The food is always is always perfect and the portions are always plentiful.The brothers are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my Life.My wife and I would not go anywhere else. The place hasn't changed and it gives that great 80sPizza place feeling and if you expecta fancy restaurant this is a pizza place, not a country club.Re the comment that someone felt sick after eating their food, you'refull of it.Been going there for over 40 years.”

“Normally go to their Middletown location and they always get our orders right. My wife gave birth this weekend, so we order from Oakhurts since it was the closest location to the hospital. My wife was craving her go to sandwich. Sadly, Brennan’s left off the bacon and pickles on her order, which we paid extra for. All she wanted was her correct order, so we are disappointed she didn’t get what she ordered after all she went through delivering our baby. We reached out to the restaurant asking for a credit back for the extra items we purchased that were not included on the sandwich and surprisingly never heard back. It’s only a few bucks, but we should have to pay for items that Brennan’s forgot to include.”

“We recently have had Pastosa and Uncle Giuseppe’s open in our area and they are excellent but Nino Jr will always be my favorite. The employees are friendly and will go above and beyond to make me what I’m looking for, even if it is not in the case. Just a wonderful local business.”
