“We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. The portions are large and VERY affordable, while looking and tasting like high end breakfast. This place makes you feel rich, and will thankfully not give your bank account the bill.“

Don't let that stop you as the employees are very friendly and accommodating for your needs. Besides that it's nice to go in and chat
Atmosphere inside is 5 star, but outside could be much cleaner. Hence the reduction in star ranking for atmosphere.“

“Wow, needed a coffee before summoning the energy to gut it out for some striper in the surf on a snotty day - and this place was so far beyond expectations given most coffee shops aren’t even open this time of year.
The place is perfect. The latte was amazing and the avocado toast, recommended by the very awesome Jeannette who I assume is the owner, was better and more interesting than most anything I get back in Southern California (no, that’s no hyperbole). Holiday vibes are on point too! Thanks for having me!“

“I only drink regular ol' coffee, which is very very good here! Tastes great black or with a touch of milk, no sugar needed! I came right at 7am when they opened, everyone was pleasant and they were moving quick! Smelled divine. The ambiance was also super chill.“

“So, we’re from boston and are visiting my son. Not too much to choose from around here in terms of restaurants. But suddenly I see a sign Minas Grill and went in just because of the word grill. It’s Brazilian! My heart is singing! Great coffee, the food is like home cooked. Loved the cheese bread and you can shop here too! Lovely warm people and so helpful! So we’ll be back while we’re here.“

Don’t be fooled by new comer coffee shops in Asbury Park. If you want good fresh roasted coffee, look no further. Take the walk to 2nd Ave. The folks working are always kind and there is comfy seating if you want I stay. The iced coffee is god tier, probably the best I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful but no bitterness. I’ve been coming here for years and have started bringing the beans home for when I’m not in town. I’ve ordered also from their website and deliver was fast and easy. Now when I have visitors at my home they remark at how good my coffee is, the best they say. I say yes, yes it is.“

“Absolutely loved this place and so glad to have found it on a recent trip to Asbury.
We tried the Americano and a bagel - both were excellent. Good enough that we made time to go back before heading to the train and bought some Black & Tan beans to take home, which are also so good!!
Not many tables but that wasn’t an issue for us. The fact that you can see them roasting the beans is a nice touch as well.“

It was a great way to start my morning this morning, from the good mornings and positive and uplifting energy from the employees (from both Pat’s and Coffee Surf) to their breakfast sandwich and the BEST cup of Chai tea I have had in a while. I highly recommend both places.“

“As frequent visitors to Asbury Park, we’ve tried most of the coffee spots in the area, and Offshore Coffee is definitely our #1. The staff is always friendly, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect stop if you’re strolling along the Asbury Park Boardwalk—grab a seat, enjoy your brew, and take in the ocean view. Highly recommended—you won’t be disappointed! The only suggestion I have is to add some gluten free snack options.“

I just had their Quesabirria tacos and OH MY GOD, they go up against any restaurant’s, EASILY. And for only $14 where everyone else is charging $17-$18 for the same amount? It’s a steal and I can’t wait to try everything else out on the menu!“
