“Talk about a hole in the wall! Morning after a wedding what else do you want but a greasy breakfast sandwich in your belly, right? Walking around, we saw a sign "Wall Street Cafe 16 steps down the alley" and, what do you know? There was a little door with a tiny sign and only a few indications we found what we were looking for. This one room cafe, that you really don't even walk into, was quite the find. A woman was there when we opened the door, asked what we'd like and proceeded to whip up two delicious bacon egg and cheeses. 15 minutes and $15 later, we had our sandwiches. They were a little pricier than I would have guessed but it was honestly one of the best BEC I've had in awhile. Lots of cheese and a perfectly cooked egg to make the entire sandwich nice a gooey. Trying to find the cafe? Well, just look for the sign on the street. And then look for the door with a table outside filled with odds and ends for sale. Make sure you have cash and you are okay with taking these sandwiches to the beach or on a walk since there is just one table. Sometimes the tiny little spots turn out to be the best gems. Worth trying if you want a classic breakfast sandwich on the go.“
“Providing everyone with this PSA: Try the blueberry baked overnight oats!Went looking for a light snack, came across this bakery and decided to give it a try. The shop has a warm mom and pop atmosphere, the two ladies there were very friendly. Saw the oats in a tray and decided to give them a try. Omg, so delicious!!!! Reminds me of my grandmother's house...#nomnomnom“
“Love this place, discovered it a few weeks ago and fell in love with their single origin Mexican coffee. Met the owner and talked about coffee and of all things my cholesterol! I’ve ordered coffee twice and it’s a staple now I brew every morning. Check ‘em out, some of the best coffee in the state - and I’ve been hitting places all over“
“I came to the establishment early as I was working in the area I ended up bringing home a bunch of different things home for my wife who is from Honduras. She loved everything I bought and two days later we went back she loaded up on nearly everything they had and I can definitely say we found our new spot to eat and cater from. The staff was extremely eager to help with all the questions we had all I can say is if you’re in the area give this spot a try you won’t regret it.Kid-friendliness: We had our 4 year old son the kind women gave my son a lollipop that made his time there a lot more fun“
“Cappuccino with caramel shot - wildly good. Had two. My coffee rating: 9.5/10. This is going to be my go-to coffee spot. Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). Brioche + soft eggs + micro greens + that chipotle sauce = coming back soon.“
“I have been coming to Steady Hand since the summer. Love the rotating menu options but the pistachio latte has been my favorite. So much my favorite that I also had to purchase the pistachio Good Good syrup to make it at home! And also can’t forget to mention Ashley, the owner, who is so friendly and always down for a chat while she is whipping up your drink!“
“I've eaten at the Rise n Shine on occasion and find it's no frills local hometown vibe inviting. I prefer sitting at the counter old school and watching the traffic go by as I enjoy a delicious omlette. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.“
“Shore Pour offers a combination of the best coffee & munchies, best service and a wonderful beach vibe to enjoy for the start of your day or the entire day should you make it your “remote office” for a little while or the entire day.Pair your coffee with a delicious bagel, scone, muffin, pastry, waffle, granola, overnight oats, amazing biscotti flavors…..or enjoy some of the most delicious macarons outside of France.Nicki, Dagney, Jon and team make you feel special every visit and are an important part of my day. Hopefully you get to enjoy Shore Pour at least once in your life….or at least once a day ;)“
“This family run, coffee, business, hands-down, one of the best experiences of my life, the grandmother and the granddaughters greet everybody, even if they’re busy, and that makes for a pleasant experienceParking: Not a gigantic parking lot, but enough spaces for the amount of people to come there“
“This is my favorite coffee shop of all time. Love the atmosphere - always somewhere to sit, with space between tables and not too loud so perfect to have a conversation or work. Mainly have espresso based drinks personally, which are great.“
“I love this place! My favorite is the cupuacu (def not spelled correctly) smoothie and açaí bowls. You can choose small, medium or large unlike other places and the prices are fair. The baked goods (scones) are amazing and baked by the owner with love. There's usually never a long wait which is great if you're stopping before work. Besides carrying fresh food/coffee the vibe and decor make you wanna hang for awhile... Definitely a favorite!“
“I come here all the time with friends and family and i have never had a bad experience here. The food is always banging and the service is always quick and very pleasant. On top of all of that the restaurant is always spotless and trendy! We are always greeted with a friendly warm smile by host Michelle. And we have been lucky with great service from Molly, and bussers! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!!“
“I love this place. It’s a welcoming, charming environment. The staff is friendly, polite and fast. They have a cool outdoor space you can enjoy on a sunny day and sometimes listen to the music of a local musician while enjoying your food and drink. I only partake in the coffee and it’s my favorite place in town, among several good options. Keep being awesome, CC!“
“This is a A-Class place to stay. Well-kept rooms & furniture, comfortable mattress, all kept clean. Amenities in bathroom, etc. There is a kitchen (with room in refrigerator to store my own food also). They serve breakfast with many choices of eggs and oatmeal, plus juice, etc., in the adjacent spacious dining room And the adjacent entry-room (before going upstairs) contains a billiards table and a (well-tuned, playable) piano. (I used/enjoyed the latter). Linda and Bill both were warm and accommodating of all my quirky needs. I highly recommend it and them.“
“My family and I love this place. It always feels like home. My toddlers love the eggs, pancakes and cookies. I have recently had the French toast muffin, omelettes, pancakes… (yes we go often). Everything is delish. I get an iced coffee with oat milk and it is the ONlY place I can get coffee without needed sweeteners. The coffee is so fresh, every single time. Whether I’m running in before school drop off, in the middle of the day before meetings, or after school to grab a snack with my kids, there’s something new and delicious to try. Highly recommend !!!Kid-friendliness: I bring my children here often. Jeanette, Sam and the entire staff are nothing but welcoming.“
“Outstanding breakfast spot! Food, service, and atmosphere all superb!I had the Irish Omlett with a salad. Mrs. had Veggie Omlet with hash browns. Daughter had French Toast. The sausage was especially good; must have been sourced from a good butcher.Highly recommended!“
“Small cafe/diner offering breakfast and lunch. Nice menu offering a good variety. Tasty omelettes and sandwich options. We last visited on a Sunday and the place was quite busy, but seating was available after a short 5 minute waitThis place gets quite busy on the weekends. Meter parking available.“
“Try the blueberry pancakes BECAUSE they are more than just regular pancakes with lonely blueberries on top. If you are a fool for French Toast GO HERE because their selections will make you wanna bury your face in the plate. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Wherever you are coming from this place is worth the trip.“
“I’ve had the pleasure of partaking in dine in and take out on the same day. I was in town for work. I wish I lived closer because this place is great. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The cold brew was very good as well. Wonderful staff and great ambiance inside.“
“My husband and I drove up from Toms River for the Cannoli kit after experiencing it at a party . It was a Sunday and the girl behind the counter was very rude and said we don’t have any they need to be ordered a head of time , thankfully RALPH walked in and saved the day he went above and beyond to get us what we came for ! If you don’t know the lay of the store you shouldn’t be working there ! Customer service should be a priority and she certainly wasn’t willing to try helping . I will be back but hopefully someone who wants to help the customer is working!“
“I came into Pops corner because I work from home and was looking for a new spot to get out of my house and have a nice working lunch. As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere, it was super clean, bright, coastal, and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious and service was on it as soon as I sat down. I started with the chicken noodle soup and the stock was super good and the noodles weren't too much - loved the broth. I also really love the pico de gallo and queso fresco on the avocado toast- the eggs were perfectly cooked over easy and the yolk melted into the yummy sourdough. I finished off with a chai latte to go. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome experience.“
“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“
“My last west coast trip spoiled me, and I'm on a quest to find amazing coffee near me (open to recommendations), so I'm trying new coffee places as much as I can. Busy Bee is inside a gas station, and has very good coffee. I had a caramel macchiato and it was a solid 7.5/10 (my coffee rating scale is as arbitrary as myself). There's also a generous collection of food offerings - I tried something similar to a deviled sausage (I didn't get its name) and it was delicious.“
“Perfect relaxing breakfast with the family. Seated right away on a Wednesday morning. Friendly wait staff and great service. Ordered The big easy benedict and huevos rancheros, a French press, German chocolate latte and 3 different hot chocolates (for the kiddos). Everything was delicious and fresh. The price is very good if not better than most common diners in this area. The food and coffee is 1000% better too. This is our favorite breakfast place when we visit NJ. Definitely recommend.“
“A plant oasis that happens to also be a coffee shop. This place is filled with plants from every nook and cranny it has to offer. Along with all the plants they sell a bunch of other little items local places/people have made. I ordered the coco matcha and it was splendidly piping hot. It felt so warming as I drank it on this cold day. This place has pastries and toast items available to eat. I would say don't plan on trying to work or eat here. There is only one table in the front of the room and then a bench along the one wall.“
“Great little coffee shop on Main Street in Bradley Beach. It can be easy to miss between the hustle and bustle of the brewery and breakfast restaurant next-door but keep an eye out for Paired. I stopped in on a Saturday morning just for some coffee and the folks behind the counter were pretty busy, but the service was fast and very friendly. I am more of a classic ice coffee person and they serve cold brew but that wasn't enough for me to knock off a star. A little on the pricier side but it is understandable because I ordered a cold brew and the location. So make your way to Bradley Beach and grab some coffee and snacks from this great new place.“
“I've lived in Point Pleasant my whole life and nowhere else has ever been as good to me as Klotz's. Every single meal here-- breakfast or lunch, has been so good. Nowhere else has the local lunch counter feel like Klotz's does. And in case you've heard about their famous Myth, yes, it is THAT good. I also adore the patty melt. It's cash only and that's fine by me for how wonderful eating there is!“
“How can anyone not love Rook? Between the fun branding, and delicious coffee, and punk-rock resistance to BIG COFFEE, this company is the go-to brew of the Jersey Shore.Parking: Be careful and cautious with the shared parking situation as many are grabbing and going. That said, I've never not seen a space.“
“They were very attentive. Staff was amazing. They answered questions and helped me immediately. Besides the macaroons, the tarts, the cookies, and the quiche, the fruit parfait that I got was probably the best that I ever ate in my entire life. No lie!“
“We ordered 3 pumpkin style cold brews! Each were $5 and this place is amazing. They don't charge extra for milk replacements. Go ahead and order your almond, oat milk or more! They got busier as we were waiting for our order. They sell merchandises like sweaters, cups and etc. Super cute! FYI the coffee is a little strong and typically it doesnt come sweetened- must ask for it!“
“Hands down, best peanut butter chocolate combo cups/ball I've ever had in my life. My hubs and I hid the box from our teenagers. I've had the cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and brownie cookies. All really great. Highly recommend. The service was above and beyond as well. They even wrote to keep cold on 1 box, which was really helpful. Thank you, Cravings!“
“This place was so cute! Stopped in for a little brunch. The atmosphere was inviting, the people were very friendly, and the smells of the food were pleasant. I ordered an Avocado BLT with a Caramel Macchiato. The walls are decorated with imported coffees, collected license plates from Aruba, and beautifully simple pieces of art. There is also a nice little bakery counter that showcases some freshly made goods. There are also tables and WiFi available if you need to work while visiting. Everything was tasty and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Enjoy the yums!!Vegetarian options: Options availableDietary restrictions: There are plenty of allergy and lifestyle friendly food choices (breads, spreads, milks, fruits)Parking: Small lot that shares with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: As long as children are welcome in and there are food options to please them, it’s kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Most seating can be accessible for wheelchairs, as well as the outside area.“
“I’ve been coming to LUK for over a year now and I wish I knew about them sooner. Every single meal my family and I have ordered is 100% clean, fresh and ACTUALLY tastes amazing. Coming from someone who used to eat McDonalds everyday and only enjoyed fries foods…LUK is one of the main reasons I was so successful in my lifestyle change and developing healthier habits.Just the other day my step daughter was complaining about a sore throat and one of the owners went out of her way to make a specialty drink just for her and she loved it! I go out to eat here 2-4 times per week and I would go every single day if I could! The staff is so sweet and kind! They even remember exactly how we all love our food.10/10 recommend!Dietary restrictions: They offer so many gluten free and vegan options that taste amazing!“
“I forgot to order our favorite spinach and bacon quiche from Sunburst Pie Co. to bring for Christmas brunch. Ran in at 9 am on Christmas Eve 2023, grabbing the last quiche, which was crabmeat and asparagus. What a hit! It was devoured and raved about. I will be ordering this for the holidays next year, for sure. We love their blueberry and choc chip scones too.“
“I love this place! I wish they were open earlier so I could get a juice to take to work every morning. The prices really can’t be beat and it’s so close to me. I’ve had their juices, açaí bowls, breakfast wrap and blended bowls. Everything has been really fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful too, which is huge. My new favorite “
“Have lived in NJ for almost 25 years. This is by far THE BEST pork roll egg and cheese I have had in the state. The way Johnny assembles this sandwich is perfection. Every bite you take from one of his sandwiches literally gets better as you are finishing it. From the fresh rolls, and freshly sliced pork roll to a perfectly cooked egg with just the right amount of cheese and SPK to hold it together. I can literally say as I took a bite from this sandwich my exact words were “WOW”. I’ll be coming at least once a week from Belmar just to get my fix. Keep killing it Johnny this place is awesome!“
“Had to write a review of this place, it was so good! I got mint chip, and my dad got s'mores. The s'mores was so good I nearly bought my own! And the mint chip is one of the best I've ever gotten. Absolutely recommend going here, I'll be going back for sure! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.“
“Food was super fresh and healthy. I ordered a sabich sandwich, a house salad and a cappuccino. The sabich was amazing. For the salad I would request the dressing on the side next time because they put on too much dressing (was delicious anyway). I totally appreciated the 1970 decore. Everything was delicious with a homemade touch. I usually leave restaurants feeling sick because the food is so processed but not here, I left feeling amazing :)“
“Barista named Spencer was very friendly and helpful. Had the Iced American and wife had the iced wild berry hibiscus tea. Both were excellent. The owner stopped by to make sure our experience was a good one. Great ambiance, we will be back!“
“Very nice place, and worth a visit if you are in the area of Spring Lake! I enjoyed a large, hot and flavorful cup of Assam black tea. However, they have lots of coffee, sweet chai lattes, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla and other flavors of syrup for... so many good drinks to choose from in three varieties: hot, iced and frozen. Go there. There's good parking in front especially before 9am. It's friendly and people seem to bring their dogs which is fun to see. Also, lots of baby carriages and strollers with moms boosting up their caffeine to help get them through the day. Good decor reflecting the ocean with shells and driftwood, and some products for sale such as candles and napkins printed with cute sayings. Overall, it made me happy to go there. I'd love to go again!Parking: There is easy, 3-hour, free, street parking right in front of the coffee shop. It begins at 9am. You can park conveniently with no worries, especially if you are an early bird like I am. ?“
“Really good donuts. I get Too Good to Go from here all the time. If you’re considering trying, go for it. You won’t be disappointed. You get four random donuts with it and they’re always good. The maple bacon and chocolate donuts are my favorites but everything I’ve tried from here is good. Def try the Too Good to Go app for this place because it’s more than worth it. They have a huge selection of donuts“
“The coffee was really good but the corn muffin I got was so stuck to the paper that it fell apart into pieces and was really hard to eat. It may have been a little dried out I'm not sure. The premises was clean and neat. I would come back.“
“Sheer excellence! Everything here was perfect. From the energy, to the aesthetic, to the food and the portions, the staff, the mini shop out front, everything. The owners did an excellent job at creating this place and it shows in every single detail.“
“A nice coffee shop on Broad Street in Red Bank. There is a lot of space and is a great place to park yourself and work. The space is bright and comfortable to relax in. They offer a variety of simple eats, baked goods and coffee beverages. They have specials like gingerbread latte. For some holiday cheer The staff is friendly and very helpful.“
“My go to coffee spot whenever I visit Red Bank. The family I stay with try to take me to starbies and I MAKE THEM go to Rook. The staff were patient with my boomers who didn't understand the menu. I like that it's an in and out kinda place. Get your Joe and bounce! Rook crew, you RULE!!“
“Highly recommend this place !!!This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and juices which ı like most Monmouth Power It has carrot, pineapple, orange and ginger.Always the best attitude to its costumers. I just want to keep coming back to this place.???“
“Love Rook coffee in Wall and have been there when in the area. Just wanted to share, that at my last visit our order was like drinking milk and water, and at the cost of two coffees, it is unacceptable. I thought of going back and asking for replacements, but our server was so sweet and I felt uncomfortable. In hindsight, I made a mistake in not doing that. I will definitely go back because I love the coffee!! Just an off day.“
“Ordered 20 breakfast sandwiches to bring to a work party. They had them ready for me right at 6:30am and even cut them in halves (as requested) and labeled what each was. They also packed up ketchup, salt, pepper, and napkins for me to take. The sandwiches were great. Their food is always great, classic breakfast food, but this time they really went above and beyond and I appreciated it a ton.“
“This shop and others like it (they have a few Rooks, right?) seem to offer really tasty smooth coffee. Unfortunately I'm just a visitor as I no longer in NJ however if you are near their locations and you want coffee I think many would agree its great spot. I've only been to Rook maybe 2 - 4 times but every time the service is good and coffee is excellent. I want to say I had Sumatra Roast.“
“A great small coffee spot in Ocean Grove! Friendly staff and owner, great coffee, and a decent selection of teas. They display local art and have a couch and tables for seating. They offer good food that rotates with the season (quiche is my favorite). They also offer FREE bananas if you buy something! FREE BANANAS! That is awesome!“
