“Very decent Chinese, Chinese/Thai place. I've been going there for 10 years. Food is fresh, reasonably priced and tasty. Their Thai selection is pretty small and is not a typical Thai, but nevertheless, creative, fresh and tasty. Service is fast and the owners are friendly.“

“New Year's Eve was very cold outside We were seated in the front of the bar next to the folding doors which were very drafty and every time I the front door opened we felt an arctic blast. Not much Ryan the manager could do. We spoke to him about getting a different table in a warmer spot but none available. We just laughed it off and tried to enjoy our dinner. portions were large and our waiter, Regall? Suggested sharing which worked out great. Kung Pao chicken and pork fried rice was good but our location cooled the food quickly. Manager and waiter could not have been more apologetic and friendly. They also appreciated that we did not complain like others did.“

“We found ourselves in the Red Bank area for an event and were looking for a late meal that wouldn’t break the bank. RB has a plethora of fantastic higher end restaurants but we were looking for quality at a good price and… we found it at Oriental Empire. Fusion offerings were pretty standard but the taste was amazing. Ordering the Pad See Ew and it was delicious, as good as I’ve had. Service was impeccable and a very relaxed atmosphere. “Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. I’ll get a picture next time, I scarfed it all down too quickly LOL.“

“I just bought an order of food from this place, Peking House, located in Sunset Ave for 3 of my 4 family members and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect! The lady at the counter was very pleasant and professional. She took my order, spoke to the 2 chefs, and they got right onto making my order. When I got home, me, my wife, and her mom dug in and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious! This will now be my new go to place for Asian food.“

“My go-to Chinese food spot for take away and delivery. The food is always fresh and flavorful but not overpowering; I want to use the term clean to describe their flavor(s). Their portions are very generous regardless of the size ordered and it’s consistent, you always know what you’re taking home with you. They also have really good rice, the consistency is top notch, slightly sticky and cooked to perfection . I recommend the Shrimp w/lobster sauce (I have had better, but it’s good), chix/broccoli, Mongolian beef, any of their curry dishes, and their dumplings (they’re delicious!)“

“This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.“

“I ordered dragon phoenix, vegetable lo mein, and sesame wonton, and they were all so delicious with the sesame wonton being so flavorful and the jumbo shrimp from the dragon phoenix taste so fresh and the chicken with white meat tastes so juicy and crunchy with great flavor

“Best takeout Chinese food I've found in the area so far. Fantastic white meat sweet and sour chicken, which was crispy with a side of sweet dipping sauce, and great pork fried rice. Szechuan chicken was also very good although a little sweet and comes with a lot more vegetables than meat. They did forget the rice with our order so check the bag.“

“We have used it for take out only. It is exceptional chinese food. The flavor is some of the best I have tasted. Though there are a lot of chinese restaurants between our place in Asbury Park and Tripple Green I feel it is worth it to get the best chinese food around.

When you call ahead for an order it is always ready for you when you arrive. The food is packaged well to avoid and spillage and condiments are supplied.

The store is clean and I feel confident that the staff uses the highest standards to keep the food fresh and delicious.“

“This is not a typical fast-food Chinese restaurant that uses the same vendors for all its supplies. Panda House actually uses fresh ingredients and prepares almost everything in-house. Fresh delicious crab rangoon, melt in mouth tender mango chicken, savory flavorful mushrooms, bigger, more tender sweet/sour chicken. “Asia Star Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in southern Monmouth County! They have an excellent variety of entrées from around the Asian continent, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. My partner and I dine in regularly. We often go in the late evening, and its often nice and quiet. The staff recognize us and they are always extremely friendly. The food is wonderful. We've tried a variety of dishes and have always enjoyed whatever we've gotten. I recommend the Singapore Mei Fun, Chicken Teriyaki, Wonton soup, and Gyoza. My partner recommends Pad Kee Mao, any sushi roll, and Tom Yum Soup. You can see the sushi chef at the counter within the dining room. They offer both simple and complex sushi rolls, all of which are extremely fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean, and it's a very welcoming environment. We're very thankful for Asia Star Cafe! I highly recommend it!“

There is no atmosphere to speak of, and walking in the store is extraordinarily uncomfortable sometimes with the amount of dodgy people who stand in front of the place but I've never had a problem so far and the woman who works there has been very nice.“

“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“

“I have edited my review. I went back after 2 years and the food and service have completely deteriorated. The food is bad now. The chicken is hard and seems uncooked. The service is bad now they messed up my order and they didn't even apologize and just hung up. I hate writing this review because this place used to be my favorite.“
