“I really love this place. It is very close to where we live and has great food. I really love their sweet and sour chicken. I appreciate that the sauce is on the side because I can’t eat most sauces due to a medical condition, and honestly prefer more “plain” food especially when it comes to my fave sweet & sour chicken ?. I also recommend their chicken fried rice. It’s a nice option for when you’re not feeling up to eating but need to get protein/nutrients. As someone with a chronic illness including weirdly specific food and appetite issues, I feel safe ordering from Joy House. Also, delivery is always on time or early and the staff will bring my food up to my 2nd floor apartment instead of leaving it in the lobby. With my mobility issues, I appreciate that more than they’ll ever know! Thanks everyone! ☺️“
“Best dumplings hands down! I’ve been coming here for years literally since 05 and they do not disappoint best Chinese food in town. The owner is extremely nice and such a hard worker she deserves the recognition please order the steamed dumplings they are just so so so so “
“The food is delicious! Very fresh and tasteful. The chicken wings are so perfectly fried, crispy, and large. Their soups are so flavorful- I recommend the chicken noodle mei fun soup! YUM! The garlic sauce is the right amount of garlic to not be overwhelming for a “garlic sauce”.“
“2024 Feb 4: Sunday: Sea Bright Beach vicinity: Unusually warm & windless, very nice atmosphere...enjoyed entire afternoon from 12 pm to 4 pm. Come here and ordered lunch specials (beef & broccoli w chicken fried rice & wonton soup) & salt & pepper Squid fry. Total $30 & they provided plates, utensils, hot oil. Very friendly...“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ming Ying Chinese Restaurant in Long Branch, NJ, and I can't stop raving about their Beef Chow Fun. It was an absolute delight! The beef in this dish was incredibly succulent and tender. Each bite practically melted in my mouth, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural taste of the beef without overwhelming it. The combination of the tender beef and the savory sauce made for a truly delicious experience.Additionally, the noodles in the Beef Chow Fun were piping hot and wonderfully fresh. They had a delightful chewiness to them that added a satisfying texture to the dish. The noodles absorbed the flavors of the sauce beautifully, making each bite a burst of deliciousness.Ming Ying Chinese Restaurant certainly knows how to make a standout Beef Chow Fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and flavorful Chinese cuisine experience. I'll definitely be returning for more of this fantastic dish!“
“Delicious & fresh hot & sour soup! The vegetables were delicious & I'm almost positive there's no MSG as I had no headaches like I get from other places. Also they were happy to make mine "medium spicy" and this came out delicious. I highly recommend and will be back.“
“Some of the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time! Kenny and Danny are some of the friendliest workers and serve up the most amazing food. Quick service ,clean, delicious and friendly. We drive almost 30 minutes to eat here and will continue to come dine here!“
“The waiter is very warm, and each dish will be introduced in detail, making people feel at home. Moreover, the store really pays attention to details, so no matter how small the details are made in place during the meal, which makes the dining experience very pleasant!“
“First time ordering from here.Great phone service for delivery, driver called when he had arrived as well and on time. Got the fried Szechuan tofu, veggie fried rice and veggie egg rolls, all were really great in flavor, texture and portion.Only complaints i have would be the Szechuan sauce was very salty, likely too much soy sauce in it from the taste, but after shaking the extra off it was still great. Also, if you could incorporate veggie SPRING ROLLS instead of veggie Egg rolls, that would be awesome. I'm vegan but i don't mind being vegetarian once in a blue moon, but i would order much more often if there were veggie spring rolls because that is the main thing i look for in a Chinese restaurant next to a great tofu. The veggie fried rice was perfect, traditional fried rice and plentiful veggies.Highly recommend this place“
“Listen, I never write reviews. As I’m sitting here enjoying my Panang Curry and veggie spring rolls, I felt compelled to give this place the respect they deserve. Been ordering from here for years and they never disappoint. Best Asian cuisine/fusion in Red Bank, and you can’t beat the daily lunch specials. After visiting Thailand, I’m always looking for delicious, authentic curries and Oriental Empire delivers every time I have that craving.“
“Middletown's House of Chong seems to have undergone some kind of internal change and as a result their entrees are skimpy on the vegetables. So Tai Hing has become my favorite Chinese food spot, plenty of veggies in the entrees and savory sauces.“
“Overall Food was flavorful and exhibited complex profiles. The sampler platter however was a disappointment in that the beef ribs and beef satays were tough. Also, the platter came to table at room temperature not hot. Two main dishes (orange tangerine scallops and vegetable chow fun) were extremely good and made up for the disappointing sampler. Served steaming hot and cooked to perfection. Our waiter (Ragil) was fabulous. Also, one in our party had a number of food sensitivity issues and the chef was extremely accommodating. Noise level was off the charts so if you're looking for a place for quiet conversation, Beijing Bistro is not for you.“
“Triple Green is a great option if you are hungry and in a hurry. They will deliver your favorite Chinese dishes quickly. I often order for my lunch at work. My favorite is their crunchy spring roll. Their lunch specials are a great option. It comes with the main dish and your choice of soup, spring roll, or a can of soda.“
“Very pure people, very friendly, nice chill spot, just moved into the area and came here late night to try a new spot, sesame chicken white meat is amazing, slightly crispy but not in a inedible hard kinda way, chicken is so tender and flavorful, rice is perfect and lomein is awesome, great people“
“I heard such great things about this restaurant. I ordered miso soup, seaweed salad and general tso tofu. The miso soup was lukewarm, very good just not hot enough. But the seaweed salad and general tso tofu was incredible!! Only issue I had was general tso tofu it was not hot enough. The spice was perfect the tofu crisp was amazing. I will definitely eat here again.“
“This Chinese place is my favorite. They are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians and their tofu is so good. Also, their vegetable dumplings are my new favorite. They are so delicious.Vegetarian options: Tofu, noodles and dumplings are the best.“
“I don't understand why it's so difficult to find decent Chinese and PanAsian food around here. First thing you need to know is that Asian Bistro has closed. Thank god! Even though I never ate there after it was Eastern Empire the conditions there were always in my head. Eastern Empire was gross, dirty and just really bad food. When I found out that Asian Bistro had closed and moved in to Ahi Sushi I was willing to give it a try. Ahi was decent, not the greatest. But decent. The place was pretty nicely decorated and seem pretty clean (in stark contrast to the rundown looking strip mall with a hazardous parking lot). My favorites were the hand rolled sushi rolls. Really good! Guess this a good choice when you need your pan Asian flavor fix“
“I just ordered last night 3/22/2023 for the first time since COVID and the food was 10/10. I have 5 mouths to feed. so about 60$ worth of food was ordered and everything was packed to the brim. There was no skimpy pieces of chicken or beef and they gave us free sugar bread which is my kids favorite ?? bed time was a little hectic after but dinner was delicious and fulfilling!!“
“This place is Soo good and super affordable the food always arrive hot they have lots of dishes to try. They have a Thai menu selection along side the Chinese menu .If you ever looking for something new try their noodle /soup bar with mei fun noodles it's like a full meal by itself and their chow fun is worth a try. My personal favorite is their dumplings their pan fried pork dumplings and dim sum are to die for. The beef in the dishes are so tender and perfectly cooked they're moo shu pork just like all of their dishes comes packed. Never had a bad meal from here safe to say this is my boyfriend and I would definitely say eastern empire is our new Chinese spot ? .“
“My family has ordered from King Chef for decades. It still hits the spot after all those years. They keep it tasty and clean and have speedy delivery. Our favorites include General Tso, Sweet/Sour, Chicken Almond Ding, all the appetizers, the pork fried rice is good but the veggie fried rice is a bit bland...still edible but missing some umami. The only complaint we have ever had is that we never have enough fortune cookies...but you can always ask if you remember!“
“Accepted my take-out order 10mins before closing, and I arrived 3mins before 10pm. Thank you!!! Was craving my a combo after working late. Food is amazing as always, their General TSO’s is closest to Wah Mei in Port Monmouth in whole area. Would Recommend!“
“I've lived in Middletown of nearly 20 years and driven past Harmony Bowl thousands of times and never stopped. I knew there was a Chinese restaurant attached and now I regret passing so many times. Curiosity got the best of me and I popped into China Palace because I wanted a takeout menu and was ready to try their food. I checked out the Yelp page and saw real authentic dishes. You must know they are takeout only, you have to call in your order and for us non Asian food enthusiast many of the dishes may not be appealing. This is not your average takeout Chinese food. This place is for the adventurous eater. That said take your time on the menu and you will find some familiar Chinese dishes like beef with broccoli and general Tso's and Kung Pao chicken. I went bonkers and orders 4 items for lunch/dinner/late night/ and lunch the next day. I was thoroughly impressed. The food is fabulous. I tried the wontons in spicy sauce and it wasn't very spicy but it was wonderful, big meaty steamed wontons in a tasty soy based sauce. The crispy breaded Porkchop had a really different but pleasing coating which was very crunchy with tender boneless pork. Again the spice level of the sauce was very low. I think they toned it down because I'm Anglo. The beef and broccoli was great. Large slices of super tender beef and a generous portion of broccoli in a delicious sauce. I also ordered the Chinese sausage fried rice, again I was blown away by its authenticity. I'll be back because I need to try their noodle dishes. Things to know; Susan takes the orders and she is super nice and will Shepard you through the more unusual dishes. They are takeout/pick up only so use the menu from the Yelp page photos and call your order in. The prices are great and the portions are huge so have some friends to help you enjoy the feast. I can't wait to order again“
“This is a great little Chinese restaurant which has all the basics and will gladly customize. To be clear I am not rating the food 5 star, but the combination of food quality, prices, value, selection and service. They are consistent in their food and service.“
“As a regular for years i owe them a review, every dish is great. The food quality is very good!! The vegetables are always very fresh and the meat is NOT fatty ! The family who runs the restaurant is very nice. There are weeks i will eat china garden for 3 days straight. Its very good. Crab Rangoon is the best!!!“
“We’ve been enjoying the wonderful food at Little Szechuan for the last 26 years and are so happy that the new owners have been able to continue the Lee family’s tradition of excellence. Little Szechuan has always been, and continues to be, the best Chinese food in Monmouth County!“
“Our go to for Taiwanese takeout. It's legit! They have the best beef noodle soup in Monmouth County. We got their San Bei Ji (3-cup chicken) - delicious! The thickened pork soup was very flavorful. The stir fried pork with tofu was great as well.“
“We moved to the area about 3 years ago and have been struggling to find a good Chinese food place until we found Panda House! We can safely say that we have found THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE AREA! Last night we put in a large order for 10 people. They got all parts of the order correct and the food was outstanding. The food was fresh, still hot on pick up, fair prices, and was delicious. 10/10 would order from here again! Definitely try it and you wont be disappointed!“
“Best Chinese food I've had, been going for many years. They are always pleasant Even when A little busy. And they laugh at my silly jokes.Vegetarian options: It Is chinese food lots Of veggie'sKid-friendliness: Their daughter practically grew up there was always happy, doing her school work. I enjoyed making her laughParking: Easy, Parking is 5 to steps steps away from the door. Also another parking lot 20 steps away, & also stops in the back. You will never have a problem parking.Dietary restrictions: Almost every Chinese place has a veggie options“
“Phenomenal. Honestly, truthfully, some of the BEST white rice I’ve ever had from a Chinese food restaurant. And arguably some of the BEST sesame chicken I’ve ever had from a Chinese food restaurant. AND… it’s so inexpensive for such large portions. 2 big meals and leftovers for tomorrow for $25!“
“This place has the best eggrolls in all of town hands-down. Sometimes I order only eggrolls from them like eight at a time because it literally taste like their eggrolls. Have chicken noodle soup in them. I don’t know if you guys are like me good Asian cuisine can only be complemented with a great eggroll. I would highly recommend this place above any other in town as not only is there food good but their service is even better.“
“I finally found the best Chinese food I have had in this area since I moved here in May. They don't offer delivery even though their website says they do. I ordered through Grubhub which is good but prices are very different then their website. Would have been 5 stars but they didn't include any sauces (Soy, duck sauce, hot sauce, mustard, fortune cookies...) nothing! If you order make sure you specify everything. I got the Mongolian Beef which was awesome! Beef was tasty and tender, not tough at all. I was very impressed. Also got the boneless ribs which were also equally awesome. Boneless ribs is always a crapshoot but so good! (Had a nice char if you like that like I do) Note to management: Don't skimp on the condiments, just makes you look cheap!“
“the food was wonderful with the best beef and broccoli i had ever had in my life and this is coming from a very picky eater so this should tell you something . Also 15 mins after the we ordered it was at our door step. We Would definitely recommend this place.“
“I really am quite confused at all the negative reviews. Yesterday I had sweet-and-sour chicken with pork fried rice and it was absolutely fabulous. The sweet-and-sour chicken was cooked to perfection and the pork fried rice was tender and had excellent taste. I am sad that they are closing on Sundays as this is my favorite day for Chinese but I will simply change my day to Saturday because this place is an excellent place to go for Chinese. The atmosphere was so so and the service was just slightly above average but the food is well worth waiting for. It is easy to give five stars for that as it was all perfect. Perhaps my only criticism is that attention should be paid to little things like napkins on the table and a clean table and chairs to sit at. There were no napkins in the napkin dispensers and the table and chairs had to be wiped off before I could sit in them but those are just a little things.“
“This is not our usual place. Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“
“I ordered dragon phoenix, vegetable lo mein, and sesame wonton, and they were all so delicious with the sesame wonton being so flavorful and the jumbo shrimp from the dragon phoenix taste so fresh and the chicken with white meat tastes so juicy and crunchy with great flavorVegetarian options: Veg lo mein and mix veg are both really good“
“I go out of my way to get this Chinese food all the time. I’m 25 minutes away from this Chinese place but the food is to die for. They give amazing portions and for cheap amount! I’ve been going to this Chinese restaurant since I was about 15 and I’m 21 now. Best. Place. EVER!“
“This is hands down one of my TOP 5 places to get Chinese food. We have been coming here for over 20 years, and we love this place so much when we moved to VA back in 2006, we STILL get stop for food here and to bring back home to VA on trips into NJ/NY. 10/10!!!“
“I can be a very picky eater when it comes to Chinese food. I love general tso, but few places make it right. The sauce is flavorful with a very mild kick to it. A kick, I have never tasted before but was always told it's supposed to be there if the sauce was made right. The chicken was cooked just the way I like it. Soft on the inside with a bit of a crisp on the outside.“
“Very good food, I ordered lots of Chinese food and not happy UNTIL House of Fortune! The lady who takes orders is very nice, and I love the service, and the food! This is my number 1 for now. Order from House of Fortune you will be happy. 5 Big Stars! Love the sweet and sour chicken!“
“We eat from here often and love the general Taos and chicken and broccoli. My toddler loves the chicken and broccoli. We feel this is one of the best Chinese places we've ever had. I'm surprised to see negative reviews. Highly recommend.“
“Went out with family and just had a great time.Yes it’s outdated, we had red solo cups with plastic tablecloths but the food is amazing.Nice size portions Although they were very busy, food came out in a reasonable amount of time.Kid-friendliness: Great fun tasty foodWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to move a wheelchair into and around the restaurant“
“Ren's garden is very good, I enjoy the sesame chicken and general tso chicken lunch special especially with the mixed vegetables, I enjoy the mushrooms here, they are tiny but they are full mushrooms and are very fun to eat, full of flavor. The fried rice is not the best I've had but it's still pretty good. The boneless spare ribs are very good, I would say the sweet and sour chicken is pretty good too. Very good price, fast delivery times. Been eating here for years.“
“Had to write this review because this just happened. I had placed an order through their website couple of things and an order of their small spare ribs. They come 4 in a small. When I checked them I realized yes, I had four pieces but they so so small, two made up one rib. I called the restaurant and told them with no attitude. They were completely understanding so they asked me to bag the small ones up and they immediately came and replaced them. That was amazing and I really appreciated it. I love their ribs lol.“
