I ordered the lemon chicken for takeout, got all the way home, and no lemon sauce. Yum, dry chicken. I wasn't about to drive all the way back there.

Good spot. Average food, not better or worse than most. Everything else is also pretty average except price slightly higher than average. I recommend it.

I had picked up food on the way home from work during a snow storm and got stuck in a snowy ditch. When I finally arrived home two hours later my food was STILL HOT. Always delicious and always a 10/10!!!

Eastern empire has been around for quite a while and their food is pretty standard Chinese food. It's not one of my favorites in the area so I only come here on occasion. The quality is okay and the service is fine as well. All in all I would say it's worth a try, but you may find places like Golden Sun and Kwang Fa a bit more flavorful.

Ordered delivery and waited 40 minutes, only to receive the completely wrong order. When I called to let them know, the staff said I’d have to wait 30 minutes for a correction - which I agreed to - but then they abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation.
I tried calling back multiple times, but the line was constantly busy. No apology, no resolution, just disrespect and wasted money. It’s unbelievable that a restaurant would treat paying customers this way.
Save yourself the headache and order elsewhere. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants that actually care about getting orders right and treating customers with basic respect.

I moved from NJ a few years ago and one of the things I miss is Eastern empire. Their food was always so tasty, fresh and delicious. I worked nearby so I would go here quite frequently for dinner. I would even go on my days off!! My favorite dish was the Thai dish beef with mushrooms, yummy. I've learned to make it at home but it's not quite there yet, almost. And chicken or shrimp with garlic sauce, wonton soup and hot and sour soup. There was something in their wonton soup that was different than any other I've tasted.. delicious. Next time I visit this will definitely be one of my stops!!

Always quick with the time of delivery but driver always wants me to come to the car and not knock on my door. First time I ordered everything was great. Since then, food has been lacking. Quality dipped tremendously. Chicken over cooked and dry. Usually general tso and sesame chicken should have a decent amount of sauce. Chicken and broccoli is more broccoli than chicken. I always give places the benefit of the doubt, anyone can have a bad day but it's becoming more prominent. Will be looking elsewhere from now on
decent... can definitely do BETTER.

I always order from Eastern Empire for delivery when at work when I crave Chinese food. It's the ONLY Chinese restaurant I trust with fresh delicious food and no salty, greasy, sloppy food.
All dishes are classic tasting and not overly ANYTHING. It's JUST RIGHT. Kind of hard to find that in my own experience.
My absolute favorite is the steamed chicken with broccoli with extra chicken, garlic sauce on the side for a little kick and your choice of plain white or brown rice and their wonton dumplings are the best tasting I have ever had. Order an egg drop dumpling soup and you'll remember this post, trust me. Or you can order a lunch special with pork fried fried rice but that's on your own personal preference.
Hands down one of THE best Chinese food experiences I've ever had and WOW have I had A LOT of disappointment when it comes to terrible Chinese food. For those who know, you know what I'm talking about. You've either got it, or you don't. 👍

Just picked up my food at about 9:50 pm; part of my order is missing and no one is answering the phone. Check your order thoroughly before leaving.
I placed an order with Eastern Empire, and not only did they forget part of my food, but when I tried to call them multiple times to fix the issue or get a refund, they completely ignored my calls. No one picked up, no follow-up, nothing. It’s frustrating and unprofessional. If you mess up an order, the least you can do is answer the phone. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Have ordered takeout from here a number of times. Pretty classic Chinese American food experience. Good food, nice portions, good prices, and nice people as well.
Seriously the best Fried rice dishes in the area.
Really enjoyed the Spicy Basil chicken and Shrimp & Calamari
