We didn't seat at Hibachi, which was a great choice. The place is busy but our server was always there and her service was exceptional, the spicy Margarita was perfect, the sushi was also very good, if I didn't like something is the feel that management looks like they are trying to just get you out asap, but maybe it's because they really are just always packed.

Ichiban Oakhurst Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi is a gem that perfectly combines quality ingredients, flavorful dishes, and a warm atmosphere. During my recent visit, I enjoyed the Cocovovato and the Philly Roll – both dishes were phenomenal! The Cocovocato was a delightful surprise, with a rich coconut essence that complemented the fresh seafood beautifully. The Philly Roll was equally great, featuring a perfect balance of textures and flavors, making every bite a pleasure. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a relaxed dining experience. If you’re looking for excellent sushi and a taste of Japan in Oakhurst, Ichiban is the place to go!

Good entertaining Hibachi lunch! We ordered scallops, filet mignon, salmon. It came with clear soup, ginger dressing salad, fried rice, hibachi noodles, & vegetables (ginger and mustard dipping sauce). We also ordered from the kitchen - sesame chicken with egg fried rice. It was good. I would suggest that the chef go easy on the soy sauce. Our food was on the salty side. The location is clean, parking was easy. I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5.

Everyone here was so kind, and went above and beyond to make sure our daughter's gluten allergy was handled. The food was phenomenal, and our chef, Mike, was the absolute best! Funny, very entertaining, and kind.

Dietary restrictions: My daughter has celiac disease and they were more than happy to accommodate her allergy. She couldn't eat the hibachi, but they happily prepared her a California roll and a side of shrimp in the back and brought it out when we started eating from the grill.

Kid-friendliness: Our chef, Mike, we so great with both our teenagers and the younger kids at our table!

AMAZING SPEED! The service here is like lightning mcqueen at the end of the first cars movie! Food was also so yummy, fresh fish and solid entrees. I cannot express how fast and polite the servers are. I’d give ten stars if I could!

Went in the restaurant after they opened for the day and boy wasn’t disappointed, even being the first customers, they provided good service for only two people. As it was my first time trying hibachi, it was a very good experience. Will be definitely going again!
